Top-100 cornerback in the 2025 class names Clemson among his top choices

Clemson makes the cut for a top-100 recruit in the 2025 class.

Dabo Swinney and the Tigers have made the top choices for two recruits in the 2025 class today with edge rusher CJ May and, earlier in the day, cornerback Blake Woodby.

St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, Md.) four-star Blake Woodby took to Twitter to announce his top 12, Clemson made the cut. The Tigers will compete with Maryland, Rutgers, Oregon, Notre Dame, Alabama, Miami, Ohio State, Tennessee, Arizona State, Boston College, and Stanford.

According to ESPN’s 2025 rankings, Woodby is the No.4 cornerback and the No.29 overall player in the class. He ranks a bit lower in 247Sports composite rankings as the No.11 cornerback and No.86 overall recruit.

Woodby would be an excellent addition to the Tigers’ 2025 class.

Clemson offers one of the top offensive line recruits in the 2025 class

Clemson has offered one of the best offensive line recruits in the 2025 class.

There hasn’t been much news on the recruiting trail for Dabo Swinney and the Tigers lately, but we have heard that Clemson has recently offered a top-tier offensive line recruit in the 2025 class.

Four-star offensive tackle Solomon Thomas announced via Twitter/X Wednesday that the Tigers have offered him a scholarship. Striking out a ton in the 2024 class on the offensive line, the 2025 class will likely highlight many offensive line recruits.

According to 247Sports composite rankings, Thomas ranks as the No.5 offensive tackle and the No.24 overall recruit in the class. Their site rankings have him slightly higher, at No.4 and No.21.

Clemson will work hard to land this one.
