4-star USC decommit announces offer from Clemson

A 4-star safety in the 2025 class has announced an offer from Clemson.

There hasn’t been much news out of the 2025 recruiting class for Clemson of late until Thursday.

4-star safety Anquon Fegans recently decommitted from Southern Cal., and announced via Twitter/X that he has received an offer from Dabo Swinney and the Tigers. Clemson is making a move for a player who is from the same school as highly touted freshman defensive lineman Peter Woods.

According to 247Sports composite rankings, the Alabaster (Ala.) native is the No.3 safety nationally and the No.31 overall prospect in his class. Their site rankings have him higher, at No.22 overall and the No.2 safety.

No.1 Safety in the 2025 class DJ Pickett announces Clemson offer

One of the top players in the 2025 class announced an offer from Clemson.

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson football program are in the hunt for one of the nation’s top players. 

Zephyrhills (Fla.) High School five-star DJ Pickett took to Twitter/X to announce his offer from Clemson. Swinney and the Tigers are wasting no time with Pickett, the top safety in the 2025 class.

According to 247Sports composite rankings, Pickett ranks as the No.1 safety and the No.8 overall player in the 2025 class. He ranks as the No.2 overall player in the state of Florida.

This is one to keep an eye on, with Pickett already receiving 38 offers from top schools across the country.

Clemson makes the top 12 for a 2025 cornerback target

Clemson makes the cut for a 2025 cornerback target.

Dabo Swinney and the Tigers have made the cut for a cornerback target in the 2025 recruiting class.

Terrance “Deuce” Edwards took to Twitter/X Tuesday to announce his top 12 schools, with Clemson among those still in contention for Edwards. The Tigers will compete with Tennessee, Oklahoma, Louisville, West Virginia, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Penn State, Miami, and Maryland for his commitment.

A three-star recruit, Edwards currently ranks as the No.29 athlete and the No.356 overall player in the 2025 class. He is expected to take a visit to Clemson for the Sept. 23 game vs. Florida State, one of the Tigers to matchups of the 2023 season.

Top-100 cornerback in the 2025 class names Clemson among his top choices

Clemson makes the cut for a top-100 recruit in the 2025 class.

Dabo Swinney and the Tigers have made the top choices for two recruits in the 2025 class today with edge rusher CJ May and, earlier in the day, cornerback Blake Woodby.

St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, Md.) four-star Blake Woodby took to Twitter to announce his top 12, Clemson made the cut. The Tigers will compete with Maryland, Rutgers, Oregon, Notre Dame, Alabama, Miami, Ohio State, Tennessee, Arizona State, Boston College, and Stanford.

According to ESPN’s 2025 rankings, Woodby is the No.4 cornerback and the No.29 overall player in the class. He ranks a bit lower in 247Sports composite rankings as the No.11 cornerback and No.86 overall recruit. 

Woodby would be an excellent addition to the Tigers’ 2025 class.

4-star 2025 edge names Clemson in his top 10

Clemson makes the top 10 for a four-star edge in the 2025 class.

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson coaching staff continue to work hard on the recruiting trail and have recently made the top 10 for a highly touted edge rusher out of Alabama. 

Highland Home four-star edge CJ May took to Twitter/X to announce his top ten schools, with Clemson making the cut along with Notre Dame, Tennessee, South Carolina, Miami, Louisville, Ole Miss, Georgia, Auburn, and Troy. The first news in a while in the 2025 class.

According to 247Sports rankings, May is the No.18 edge and the No.171 overall player in the 2025 class. He received an offer from the Tigers in June.

Clemson offers one of the top offensive line recruits in the 2025 class

Clemson has offered one of the best offensive line recruits in the 2025 class.

There hasn’t been much news on the recruiting trail for Dabo Swinney and the Tigers lately, but we have heard that Clemson has recently offered a top-tier offensive line recruit in the 2025 class.

Four-star offensive tackle Solomon Thomas announced via Twitter/X Wednesday that the Tigers have offered him a scholarship. Striking out a ton in the 2024 class on the offensive line, the 2025 class will likely highlight many offensive line recruits.

According to 247Sports composite rankings, Thomas ranks as the No.5 offensive tackle and the No.24 overall recruit in the class. Their site rankings have him slightly higher, at No.4 and No.21.

Clemson will work hard to land this one.
