Travis Etienne expected to play against Bengals on Monday

The Jaguars will have one of their stars against the Bengals.

The Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars are both dealing with some injuries to key players going into the Monday night game, but Travis Etienne Jr. is expected to suit up for the prime-time game.

He has been practicing but has been limited for most of the week for the Jaguars, and there has been no official word yet on his status but expect to see him on the field after the extra day of rest.

Etienne has rushed for 726 yards and seven touchdowns this season, adding 36 receptions for 312 yards and a touchdown.

The Bengals have not been very good against the run this year, giving up 139.6 yards on the ground per game, which is 29th in the NFL in front of only the Cardinals, Jets and Broncos, so Etienne could cause issues for them if he is at full strength by the time the game comes around.

If he isn’t able to play, rookie Tank Bigsby and D’Ernest Johnson would likely share the load in the game.

Bengals vs. Jaguars live stream, time, viewing info for Week 13

Viewing info for MNF.

The Cincinnati Bengals will go on the road to play the AFC South-leading Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night in a game that likely seemed like a much more meaningful matchup for the two teams when it was initially put on the schedule. Joe Burrow against Trevor Lawrence on two teams that should have been near the top of the AFC got this game into prime time, but Jake Browning will be under center for the last-place Bengals when 8:15 on Dec. 4 comes around.

The Jaguars’ year is going how it was expected to, however. They are 8-3 with a two-game lead on the Indianapolis Colts in the South, so they will be looking to prove they are a top team in the AFC by beating a team that they are expected to this week, with current odds making them 8.5-point favorites.

The entire Bengals’ offense didn’t have a good first game with Browning at quarterback, but they are looking to turn that around, especially since they are still only one game out of a playoff spot despite being under .500 and last in the division.

Here’s a quick look at viewing info and key details about the matchup, including the forecast and opponent info.

Bengals vs. Jaguars Week 13 referee revealed

Referee info for Bengals vs. Jags in primetime.

The Cincinnati Bengals are playing another primetime game in Week 13 on Monday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars and they will have a referee that they haven’t yet this season for the matchup.

Scott Novak will be the head referee for the game in Jacksonville. He and his crew average 10.7 flags thrown per game in his 11 weeks this season.

The Bengals are fourth in the NFL when it comes to staying away from penalties with only five flags per game. The Jaguars are just ahead of them at third in the league with only 4.9 penalties per game.

The last Bengals game Novak was referee for was Oct. 9, 2022, when they lost to the Baltimore Ravens 19-17. They are 1-3 in games which he has called for them with the only win coming on Nov. 1, 2020, when Joe Burrow led the Bengals to a 31-20 upset win over the Tennessee Titans in which he threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns.
