It’s been a very busy week on the Texas A&M Football recruiting front, as a handful of 2024 prospects are leasing their top program lists this month in order to continue narrowing down their future visits, or simply begin the decision-making process earlier than expected.
On Wednesday, rising defensive back prospect Christian Peterson, currently ranked as a three-star safety prospect out of Atlanta, Georgia released his Top 8 school list made up of Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Auburn, Mississippi State, UCF, and Texas A&M.
Peterson is heading into his senior year at Westlake High School, and according to 247Sports Composite Rankings, sits as the 57th-ranked safety prospect, and 55th-ranked player in Georgia in the 2024 cycle. During his 2022 junior season, Peterson played at multiple spots in the defensive backfield, contributing to a bulk of his 34 total offers.

After unofficially visiting College Station in late March, It’s clear that the Aggies remain in solid play for Peterson’s talents, and possibly a second visit down the line.
