She-Hulk’s first post credit scene answered the biggest question about Captain America and everyone flipped out about it

OUR GREATEST QUESTION ABOUT THE MCU IS FINALLY ANSWERED

SPOILER ALERT: Everything that follows below is about the post credit scene from She-Hulk episode 1. If you haven’t watched it and you’re interested in watching it, please go watch it before you read this.

“CAPTAIN AMERICA FUUUUUU-.” And there we have it, y’all. We finally have our answer.

For years and years and years, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have been discussing one thing: Whether Captain America was a virgin or not. This has easily become one of the most divisive (and hilarious) debates about MCU canon.

We know Cap spent his post-freeze years mostly defending the world. He didn’t really have time to settle into any love interests. We think maybe there was a spark there with Natasha Romanov. And, clearly, there was something there with Sharon Carter — the niece of the love interest he left behind in the past.

But it’s pretty clear he never knocked boots with any of them. So if not then, when?

Well, we’ve got an answer, folks. She-Hulk just gave it to us.

ROGERS DID IT, Y’ALL. Apparently, it was with someone on a 1943 USO tour back in his heyday. Not sure who it was or when it happened, but apparently he told Bruce Banner that it actually happened.

Shouts to Jen Walters and her savvy legal skills for coaxing Banner into admitting this. And also shoutout to her for giving us this.

Just hilarious stuff. Everybody absolutely lost it after sceing this.

WATCH: Michigan football players making plays in preseason

Former Wolverines are already making plays!

It may be preseason, but the former Michigan football players are out making some great plays in game one of preseason action.

Aidan Hutchinson, the second overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft, made his NFL playing debut on Friday in a Detroit Lions uniform. Right away he did something that Michigan fans will remember quite well from his time in Ann Arbor, he made an offensive tackle look silly, and he got right into the backfield for a tackle-for-loss. Lions fans will have plenty of this to look forward to.

Devin Funchess, former wide receiver/tight end hybrid at Michigan, made his  Lions debut on Friday as well. Funchess was a second-round selection by the Carolina Panthers back in 2015, but the injury bug has plagued the former Wolverine. He signed with both the Packers and Colts, but never had much playing time due to injuries, but he is trying to salvage his career back home in Michigan. The, now NFL tight end, scored a one-yard touchdown on Friday, and he also made a highlight reel hurdle. Funchess is trying to earn a No. 2 tight end role with the Lions.

Lastly, former Michigan running back, Chris Evans had a 70-yard run on Friday with the Bengals. There ended up being a flag called on the play, but Evans still showed his incredible burst off the line of scrimmage and outran just about the entire Cardinals’ defense. Evans is hoping to earn more of a role with the Bengals this upcoming season behind Joe Mixon.

There are 59 former Michigan Wolverines on an NFL preseason roster this year. The maize and blue are really showing out early.

Bengals RB Chris Evans had a hilarious response to his odds of becoming Kim Kardashian’s next boyfriend

He’s gotta love those odds.

I’m not even going to attempt to understand how the names on this list were compiled, but Odds Shark created odds for who Kim Kardashian’s next beau will be. And while some were pretty self-explanatory, like Pete Davidson and Kanye West, others were not.

One of those other names, and maybe the most random of the 14 to make the list, was Chris Evans. And before you think, “Wait, Captain America? That’s not so random.” No. It’s not that Chris Evans.

It was Cincinnati Bengals second-year running back Chris Evans. And he appeared just as confused to see his name on the list as anyone.

Judging by the emoji selection, Evans certainly doesn’t seem against the idea. And he’s got to love his odds. The odds for that Donald Trump guy should probably be a lot longer, though.

Chris Evans named breakout star for 2022

Could the Bengals RB have a massive breakout?

[mm-video type=video id=01g68qmx5frptcghjre0 playlist_id=none player_id=none image=https://images2.minutemediacdn.com/image/upload/video/thumbnail/mmplus/01g68qmx5frptcghjre0/01g68qmx5frptcghjre0-272c2020142a68dfcfbca117a23c5d0e.jpg]

We’ve touched on X-factors and “best-kept secrets” for the Cincinnati Bengals leading up to the 2022 season, and now we find a potential breakout star from the team.

CBS Sports NFL Draft writer Chris Trapasso named players for his “Out of Nowhere” team for 2022 and on that list was Bengals running back Chris Evans, who is coming off an impressive rookie season, particularly as the season wore on and helped build the playoff run. He should be in line to be the direct backup to Joe Mixon this season, if not see more work and start sharing time with Mixon:

“The talent is undeniable with Evans. Check his combine workout, it’s first-round caliber, with 90-plus percentile broad and vertical jumps and blisteringly fast agility-drill times. Even after what was easily marked as a disappointing collegiate career relative to the recruitment and freshman year hype, the Bengals rolled the dice in the sixth round of the 2021 draft. Of course, Joe Mixon is Cincinnati’s feature back, and Samaje Perine is the locked-in backup, so Evans only saw 17 rushes during the regular season. He averaged 4.5 yards per pop, a respectable figure, and forced an encouraging five missed tackles on those attempts. Evans proved to be a formidable receiving option too, which is probably where the most value of his future lies.

He averaged 10.1 yards per catch on 15 receptions and forced another five whiffs by defenders. He’s thick, bouncy, an effortless pass catcher. In short, he has the juice to threaten Perine for to be second in line for out-of-the-backfield touches on a dynamic Bengals offense. If he gets that opportunity — and I think he’ll get more action than he saw as a rookie — Evans will bust out in Year 2.”

Evans is indeed right in line to seriously push Samaje Perine for the backup spot and based on what he’s flashed as a pro, he could put up some big numbers and become a long-term piece.

Is Chris Evans headed for a breakout with Bengals next season?

Is the Bengals RB about to shove his way into a big role on offense?

[mm-video type=video id=01g68qmx5frptcghjre0 playlist_id=none player_id=none image=https://images2.minutemediacdn.com/image/upload/video/thumbnail/mmplus/01g68qmx5frptcghjre0/01g68qmx5frptcghjre0-272c2020142a68dfcfbca117a23c5d0e.jpg]

It’s not an easy task to think of breakout players for the Cincinnati Bengals going into 2022.

The Bengals are, after all, coming off a Super Bowl and returning many of the same starters and rotational players. A breakout implies a big sudden arrival for a player.

Maybe the most notable candidate in this regard is running back Chris Evans.

Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic recently pointed this out:

“If he can continue to grow as a pass protector and build trust in the coaching staff to do the right things, you could make an argument he could supplant Perine as the third-down back. He’s certainly a more dangerous receiver. His role expanded last year as a kick returner and he was used to work under deep coverages on third-and-long.”

That’s one of the only spots on the roster with major wiggle room for a new player to come in and shake up lineups.

It sure doesn’t hurt that Evans is wicked talented. He was considered a steal as a sixth-round pick in 2021 and even as a rookie, broke in as a kick returner and here and there in the passing game. He’s arguably more explosive as a pass-catcher than any non-Joe Mixon back on the roster.

So if there’s a breakout candidate in Cincinnati on either side of the ball to know, Evans heads up the list.

Chris Evans hilariously explains that he’s not photoshopped into Lightyear pictures at Disneyland

Ok, but are we SURE that isn’t a photoshop.

Chris Evans is undeniably one of the world’s biggest movie stars. He brought Captain America to the big screen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and his Disney Pixar summer flick Lightyear is set to hit theaters June 17. The movie follows the adventures of Buzz Lightyear, the spaceman made famous through Pixar’s highly acclaimed Toy Story series.

To promote the film, Evans took to Disneyland’s Pixar Pier for some photos with some of Pixar’s most popular characters. When the pictures made it to the internet, however, some folks — including Evans himself — noticed something hilarious. Turns out that even the incredibly famous and handsome Evans doesn’t know how to stand for a photo without being awkward.

To his credit, he acknowledged the awkward and poked fun at his robotic stance, calling it a “very disciplined pose.”

I think we can all agree that his awkward is way less awkward than our awkward.

Bengals rookie Chris Evans about to get a bigger role on special teams?

While fans would love to see Chris Evans get more time at running back, they’ll at least get a chance to see him return kicks for now.

[mm-video type=video id=01fk180eypeyq2fw7jbg playlist_id=01eqbw0bft20de1r4d player_id=none image=https://images2.minutemediacdn.com/image/upload/video/thumbnail/mmplus/01fk180eypeyq2fw7jbg/01fk180eypeyq2fw7jbg-42336ce12defd7b7ebc558b112017718.jpg]

Time to celebrate. Well, somewhat.

Fans have been clamoring for Chris Evans to get more snaps at running back over Samaje Perine behind Joe Mixon. While this news doesn’t necessarily reflect a change there, it’s at least better than nothing.

In his latest quick hits piece, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com talked about the Bengals having to re-shape their special teams units with KR Brandon Wilson tearing his ACL and LB Akeem Davis-Gaither injuring his foot. Both are potentially done for the season.

As one of the moves special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons is attempting to make to rebuild the unit, he is going to take a look at Evans at kick returner.

This won’t fully be his job, however. Cornerback and punt returner Darius Phillips is likely going to get first crack at it, but Evans will have his opportunities:

“You really can’t just plug-and-play one person to (replace a high-caliber player). It’ll be a variety of guys,” Simmons said. “You saw a little bit the other day, Tre jumped in there for us as a gunner, we had Mike Thomas who has made a living in this league playing gunner. We’ll have to fill his role with a variety of people probably on kickoff and the same thing on punt return. When you lose a core guy like that it stings, it hurts, but that’s life in this league too. Everybody loses players on a week-to-week basis. You hate it when it happens to one of your core guys like that, but what it provides is an opportunity for one of the other guys to step up. That’s how Brandon got to play in this league. He started off on PUP and when he got an opportunity he took it and ran with it.”

All it takes is just getting on the field. Perhaps this is the start of something for Evans. We’ll see.

WATCH: Chris Evans makes diving catch for first career NFL touchdown

Way to go, Chris! #GoBlue

Those in greater Detroit who are both Michigan football and Lions fans are having mixed feelings at the moment.

The Detroit Lions are playing the Cincinnati Bengals, the latter of which features former Wolverines running back Chris Evans, a longtime fan favorite since he burst onto the scene in his first-ever game against Hawaii in 2016. On Sunday, the former NFL sixth-round draft pick proved why he’s such a dangerous threat in multiple areas, but this time at the pro level.

As former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow drops back, Evans is split out wide and runs a go-route to the end zone. He gets past both the corner and the safety, but the ball is thrown a little ahead of him. He makes the subtle dive to get to it and secure it, scoring his first career NFL touchdown.

Watch: Rookie Chris Evans arrives with first career Bengals TD

Chris Evans has arrived.

Cincinnati Bengals rookie running back Chris Evans has finally arrived.

After weeks of spotty usage in the offense as the attack preferred Samaje Perine behind Joe Mixon, the sixth-round pick out of Michigan was the primary backup on Sunday.

And Evans didn’t need long to make a huge play.

Lined up at wideout on a key third down, Evans busted past a defender and stretched out for an unforgettable touchdown catch, the first of his career.

Fans who look closely will see Evans just so happens to wear No. 25, the same number as Giovani Bernard. And he’s looking just like the reliable veteran out there, so don’t be surprised if this isn’t the last we hear from him — today or each week.

The big play:

Bengals using Giovani Bernard film to coach up rookie Chris Evans

Gio Bernard is still helping the Bengals and a certain rookie.

[mm-video type=video id=01fdqmrqpmfr9p4ney6t playlist_id=none player_id=none image=https://images2.minutemediacdn.com/image/upload/video/thumbnail/mmplus/01fdqmrqpmfr9p4ney6t/01fdqmrqpmfr9p4ney6t-8a8adf58d143b3aaa149462d532f8411.jpg]

The Cincinnati Bengals don’t have Giovani Bernard in the backfield anymore, but his lasting legacy with the team continues to help the offense and rookie running back Chris Evans.

Coaches have thrown out reels of Bernard’s film to help Evans learn his role with the team –especially when it comes to pass protection.

Here’s Evans, from Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com:

“He was just letting me know how crucial pass protection is going to be and (we) watched all the Gio clips from last year and taking little things from him as far as pass protect. Where to fit, get inside and where to check your eyes and stuff like that so I can be ready for the game.”

Evans, a sixth-round pick who blasted his way onto the roster thanks to a superb training camp and preseason, is one of three backs currently on the 53 and at the pace he’s going, should get more looks than veteran Samaje Perine already.

And Evans can’t do much better than watching tape of Bernard, who left this offseason and joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While Bernard was dangerous as a weapon, his skill in pass protection was so good it often brought Joe Mixon off the field, plus he was strong on special teams.

Though Bernard is gone, he’s clearly still having a big impact and fans should see that on the field with Evans.
