2024 basketball prospect announces Tennessee in top six schools.

2024 four-star small forward Chase McCarty announced his top six schools on Wednesday.

Tennessee, Houston, Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, Missouri and Kansas are McCarty’s top schools.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound small forward is from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He transferred from Westminster Christian Academy in Huntsville, Alabama on July 2.

McCarty is the No. 73 overall prospect in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 26 small forward and No. 13 player in Florida, according to On3 industry rankings. McCarty was the No. 1 prospect in Alabama before transferring.

The 2024 prospect earned ASWA Super All-State Basketball honors and was named Tennessee Valley Co-Player of the Year last season.

McCarty officially visited Tennessee on Aug. 25.

McCarty earned ASWA Super All-State Basketball honors and was named the Tennessee Valley Co-Player of the Year. He surpassed 1,000 career points on Nov. 9 and led Westminster Academy to a 4A state championship game.

The 2024 prospect visited Tennessee on Jan. 28.
