One of the biggest and best prospects in the state of Michigan’s 2026 class is now off the board. Saline (MI) tight end Lincoln Keyes has made the decision to make his commitment to the Georgia Bulldogs. Both Michigan State and rival Michigan will miss out on the top prospect.
For Michigan State, they will target 1-2 tight ends in the 2026 recruiting class, with multiple tight ends being the more likely scenario.
While Keyes is now off the board, there are still a plethora of targets for MSU to target in the state in 2026. Detroit Catholic Central’s Jack Janda will lead the list for the Spartans, who will go head to head with their rival Wolverines (who hold the crystal ball lead) for the local talent. Second on the list will be Lincoln Watkins of Port Huron Northern High School. He holds 15 power conference offers despite not holding an MSU offer, which should be coming soon. Other than the big two left on the list, prospects like Charlie Jilek (Portage Central), Ryan Rocheleau (Lake Orion) and Maximus Jansenvanvuren (Waterford Mott).
