The Los Angeles Chargers were unable to deliver a win in their last game played at Dignity Health Sports Park. The loss to the Oakland Raiders was a mix of lack of effort on both sides of the ball, questionable play-calling and poor clock management.
The Chargers drop to 5-10 and 0-5 in divisional play, with one more game remaining of the season.
Here is how the general population reacted following the Bolts’ 24-17 loss to the Raiders on Sunday afternoon:
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened 😅

It's time for the Chargers to make a change in the front office and that new leadership should get to choose a new coaching staff.

Every single Chargers game for the last five years:
Down 10 points
Defensive stop at midfield with ~4 minutes left
Rivers march for meaningless touchdown
Failed onside kick
Defensive stop around 40-yard line
Interception trying to force it with 24 seconds left pic.twitter.com/EfBCMg6XkJ— Will Brinson (@WillBrinson) December 22, 2019
25 freakin thousand showed up to watch the Chargers and Raiders. Wow pic.twitter.com/bNLpniUGKf

This is the Chargers:
Horrible offensive playcalling all game, leading to an air raid that should have been the gameplan from the beginning
This is the most frustrating time to be a Rivers fan, especially with the new Chargers fans that haven't watched him throughout career

Very appropriate end to the Chargers' tenure at the soccer stadium in Carson. Play poorly in a meaningless game in front of 80+% away team fans

I feel bad for Anthony Lynn! His QB is done. I hope he doesn’t lose his job after this season. @Chargers
