Prediction

Heat 109, Cavaliers 98

Moneyline (ML)

The Heat (-1112) are heavily favored to top the Cavaliers (+600), who are playing in the second end of a back-to-back. Cleveland rallied for a win in Washington Friday in interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff’s first game at the helm.

Miami has posted seven straight wins against Cleveland, including a pair of wins in the month of November by a total of 35 points. While the Heat should win, there is no way you can justify betting 10 times the amount of your return. AVOID.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

The CAVALIERS (+13.5, -115) might not be winning on a regular basis, but they’re covering. Cleveland has cashed in five straight on the road. On the flip side, the Heat (-13.5, -106) are just 1-5 ATS in the past six games overall, and 0-4 ATS in the previous four when working on a day of rest.

Over/Under (O/U)

The UNDER 220.5 (-110) has hit in four in a row for the Cavaliers, including 4-1 in the previous five against teams with a winning overall mark. For the Heat, the under is 5-2 in their past seven as a favorite, while going 5-1 in the previous six after a straight-up loss and a non-cover, too. While the under play goes against the trends in this series, with the over hitting in six of the past seven in Miami, tired legs by the Cavs and a weary Heat team returning from a long road trip will result in an under.
