The Pittsburgh Steelers put the wraps on their 2020 NFL draft by selecting massive nose tackle Carlos Davis out of Nebraska. Davis is the team’s sixth and final draft selection.

Davis, along with his twin brother Khalil have been anchors in the middle of the Nebraska defensive line. Khalil was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the sixth round and now his bother comes off the board to the Steelers.

Davis didn’t light up the boxscore at Nebraska but he does offer a particular set of skills as well as a body type the Steelers could use. The Steelers let Javon Hargrave leave in free agency to the Philadelphia Eagles and although they signed Chris Wormley, a player like Davis could end up pretty valuable as a run stuffer.
