Oregon Ducks football roster announced for Madden 22 Campus Legends

Do you miss the NCAA Football video games? For a select time, you can play with these Oregon Ducks ‘Campus Legends’ on Madden 22.

In case you missed some pretty significant news — at least if you have been missing EA Sports’ NCAA Football — Madden NFL 22 has included the Oregon Ducks along with a number of other collegiate teams, to its Campus Legends mode.

At long last, you can once again play a football video game using the vibrant green and yellow we all know and love, but only for a limited time, through Jan. 31.

Here is a complete list of the 12 teams you can play with:

Alabama Crimson Tide
Ohio State Buckeyes
LSU Tigers
Miami Hurricanes
Clemson Tigers
Texas Longhorns
Michigan State Spartans
Nebraska Cornhuskers
Florida Gators
Oklahoma Sooners
USC Trojans

The opportunity began on Jan. 14, and we weren’t originally certain which former Oregon greats would be included. Now we have the entire 32-man roster. It’s a who’s who of former Duck stars, and we’re sure you are going to enjoy every moment of it if you haven’t taken part already.

While there is a growing group of video game players and sports fans who have grown frustrated with the EA Madden football franchise for it’s lack of changes over the years, a new game mode has been introduced for the 2022 version of the classic game, called Campus Legends.

The new mode delves into the college side of things, which is a nice addition since fans have been deprived of playing with their favorite college teams since the College Football game was done away with years ago.

The Ducks have a solid team on the new game, but there are some notable exceptions. While most players are positioned based on what they played in the NFL, the majority of players are included based on their success at the professional level, rather than their time in college. That is why we don’t see players like Marcus Mariota, LaMichael James, or Jonathan Stewart.
