Texas A&M Basketball vs Abilene Christian: Channel, time, streaming info

Watch Texas A&M vs Abilene Christian game today. Here’s how to watch, time, TV schedule, live streaming info, and game odds.

Saturday afternoon will be No. 13 Texas A&M’s last nonconference game before they hit the gauntlet that will be SEC play. After beating HCU last week, they moved to 10-2 in the season and extended their winning streak to six.

The Aggies and Abilene Christian have faced each other just seven times, with A&M winning all three encounters. The closest contest occurred in 2021 when ACU pushed A&M to double overtime, ultimately losing 81-80 at Reed Arena.

This season, the Wildcats have participated in only one Quad game against Baylor, suffering an 88-57 defeat. Given the Aggies’ strong performance lately, it seems unlikely that ACU will secure a victory.

Last week, after a slow start and without Wade Taylor, IV, A&M was able to kick it into high gear in the second half for a 32-point win. Coach Buzz Williams is off to one of his better starts since he is at A&M, and a win on Saturday will give him good momentum before starting conference play.

Watch: Buzz Williams sits down for the premiere of the Aggie Basketball Hour

Texas A&M HC Buzz Williams sits down for a conversation about all things Aggie basketball

The college basketball season is about to start, and the No.13 Texas A&M Aggies will be returning a veteran team looking to make a deep run to the NCAA Tournament.

He recently sat down with Andrew Monaco during the Aggie Basketball Hour for a conversation on how he is improving as a coach and a preview of the season.

One of the hallmarks of a Coach Buzz Williams team is having open and honest communication with the players. He also has the same policies for the athletes’ families and it paid dividends in the form of him returning a substantial amount of this roster.

“Our player retention speaks to our staff’s ability to find the right players in how we want to operate on and off the floor.”

“I know how rare it is. I’m trying to be aware of how special this team is. I try not to take for granted the opportunity to spend time with them. All of us appreciate it. Our players understand this.”

He touched on the transfers and recruiting this season

“I think those guys fit us. They impact us now. They make our returning players better. I think signing day is in two weeks and I anticipate we’ll sign some players. You’re trying to evaluate who will be on the team next year and who you’ll need to add.”

Below you can watch the entire conversation starting about the 15:30 mark in the video
