Prediction
Pacers 119, Bulls 103
Moneyline (ML)
The Pacers (-400) are getting their best player back in the lineup against the injury-riddled Bulls (+310). Indiana was already going to be the easy choice, as it has gone 7-3 over its last 10 games and is 17-5 on home court for the season. Chicago is on a rare two-game winning streak but is just 8-15 on the road in 2019-20.
The Pacers lead the season series 2-0, with both wins coming by double-digit margins. Expect much of the same Wednesday, but PASS on the chalky moneyline in favor of greater value on the spread.
Line/Against the Spread (ATS)
The PACERS (-9.5, +105) are the play while needing to win by at least 10 points Wednesday to cover the spread. They’re 26-20-1 against the spread overall and 12-9-1 at home. The Bulls are 23-25-1 ATS overall and 12-10-1 on the road, but as mentioned above, both Indiana wins in the season series thus far came by more than 10 points.
Factor in Oladipo’s return from injury in front of the home crowd and this will be ugly from start to finish for Chicago.
New to sports betting? A $10 bet on the Pacers to win by at least 10 points returns a profit of $10.50.
Over/Under (O/U)
Take the OVER 214.5 (-121). Oladipo’s return will fire up the home crowd and his teammates, and they’ll be able easily run through what’s left of the Bulls roster. Chicago has held opponents to 107.7 points per game this season, but I fully expect the Pacers to blow past their 110.0 PPG average.
