The Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball team is now 17-5 overall and 12-1 in SEC play after defeating the Georgia Bulldogs at home with an SEC record 115 points.
Nate Oats currently coaches the best defense in all of college basketball and the fastest-paced offense in the nation. The team is primed to be a highly ranked seed heading into not only the SEC tournament, but the NCAA men’s tournament, as well.
The win was secured with less than a minute to go, but freshman forward Darius Miles wanted to make it clear the Crimson Tide finished on top.
He had an incredible slam dunk over a Georgia defender that will leave many speechless. There’s no possible way to describe the intensity, so here is a video of it.

Since the game was coming to a close and Alabama was going to win, some may claim this was an unsportsmanlike act. However, Oats spoke with Georgia head coach Tom Crean about it after the game.
Nate Oats said he went over to Georgia coach Tom Crean just before the end of the game to explain why Darius Miles was still trying to dunk.
Oats said he has a “lot of respect” for Crean and Crean said it was “no problem."
