The Buffalo Bills are doing their best to hold actual team workouts despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic keeping players and club staff away from their Orchard Park facility.
According to NFL Network insiders, the Colts, Patriots and Bills are the three teams attempting to hold these virtual workout sessions. In total, 12 teams were supposed to start some offseason workouts on Monday. The report adds that the Bills have a good chunk of change going to players to participate in them, near $3 million, which is an incentive agreed upon in contracts:
These three teams are requiring workouts for players to receive credit for participating. The #Bills have over $3m in workout bonuses for their players so it’ll be important for those guys to participate if they want their money. https://t.co/xcTrAtf2yi

So how did things go for the Bills? We can guess that maybe no news is good news since there haven’t been any reported hiccups by mid-afternoon on Monday. But in doing so, the workouts can provide the Bills with a bit of a team building exercise. Many in the Bills locker room will want to get acquainted with some of their new teammates, such as Mario Addison, Josh Norman, and of course, Stefon Diggs. This is pretty much the only way the Bills can do so right now. Might as well work up a sweat while you’re at it?
