The top offensive players in Tampa Bay’s loss to New Orleans, per PFF

It was an ugly loss, but there were still a few producers for the Bucs against the Saints (late in the game, anyway).

There wasn’t a lot of offense to speak of for most of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Week 17 game against the New Orleans Saints.

In fact, the team didn’t score a point until the fourth quarter. They scored 13 then, though, and there were a few offensive weapons to help them do that. It was a game the Bucs would probably rather forget than reminisce over, but even still, some of the production by a few Tampa Bay players is enough of a tell that there is still some talent that can succeed should the Bucs make it to the postseason.

Pro Football Focus took to grading every offensive Bucs player from Sunday, and there were a few they were impressed with. Check out the top 10 highest-graded Bucs offensive players, per PFF:

The interior offensive line continues to get low marks from Pro Football Focus.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers put up 30 points unanswered on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16 in what was an overall dominant performance. It’s hard to pinpoint problems when that happens, but they’re still there.

In the eyes of Pro Football Focus, at least, the interior offensive line for the Bucs remains a bit of an issue. Tampa Bay’s run game took a step back against the Jaguars, averaging just 1.9 yards per carry on the day, and the interior offensive line once again struggled while run blocking on Sunday.

Here are the five lowest graded Bucs offensive players from Sunday’s matchup, per PFF:

Pro Football Focus wasn’t too impressed with these five Bucs players despite an overall dominant performance.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense largely shut things down against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 16, but problems still remain in the unit as a whole.

Tampa Bay’s secondary has still suffered from zone coverage busts, leading to a league-worst pass defense in passing yards per game. With four turnovers against the Jaguars, that didn’t matter all that much, but it is definitely something to note heading into a potential playoff bid should the Bucs win the NFC South. Pro Football Focus took to grading every Bucs defensive player for Week 16, and a few players in the secondary were given some of the lowest grades.

Devin White’s return to the gridiron after injury was a smash hit, as he was the highest-graded Bucs PFF defender:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense created a nightmare before Christmas for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Bucs had four turnovers against the Jaguars and held them to just 12 points, most of which came in garbage time. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence was stifled the entire game, throwing two interceptions and fumbling once, and the defense held Jacksonville’s run game to just 2.8 yards per carry across the whole day. Pro Football Focus certainly took notice, giving the defense high marks across the board. They were particularly impressed with Devin White, who made a big splash on the return to the gridiron.

There were contributors all over the field on offense in a dominant Week 16 victory over the Jaguars.

There was plenty to love when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers faced off against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Christmas Eve.

As far as offense goes, the Bucs put up 30 points unanswered for the initial frame of the game in what could be considered one of the best performances of the year. Quarterback Baker Mayfield threw two touchdowns and the Bucs didn’t turn the ball over against the Jaguars, making it a very successful outing. Pro Football Focus graded every Bucs offensive player who took snaps, and there were plenty of contributors from every part of the offense in the dominant win.

The worst offensive players in Tampa Bay’s win over Green Bay, per PFF

Despite an overall great offensive performance against the Packers, PFF wasn’t a fan of these five players.

It’s hard to complain when a team puts up 34 points on offense, but not everyone was a contributor for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

The offense played on of its best games of the year, showcasing some dominant play at Lambeau Field and moving to 7-7 on the year. Pro Football Focus graded every offensive player who took snaps on Sunday, and while plenty of them graded out with high marks, others didn’t grade so well. While PFF will occasionally round up a bad position group, the players listed here are varied.

The worst defensive players in Tampa Bay’s win over Green Bay, per PFF

The defensive line was particularly singled out by PFF in their weekly grades.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense continues to hold teams at bay in the red zone and keep points down, but that doesn’t mean the unit is devoid of problems.

The team still gives up plenty of yards in the secondary, allowing Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love to throw for 284 yards and two touchdowns while completing over 70% of his passes. Another huge problem is the lack of pressure from the pass rush, and that’s something that Pro Football Focus narrowed in on when releasing their Bucs defensive grades for Week 15.

These defensive players were the highest-rated against the Packers by PFF in Week 15:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense hasn’t truly shined in a while, but it got the job done on Sunday.

The unit held the Green Bay Packers to under 21 points in a 34-20 victory at Lambeau Field in Week 15. It also added another turnover, forcing quarterback Jordan Love to fumble the football at the end of the game and seal the win for the Bucs. And while not everyone was a huge contributor, your usual suspects balled out in the Frozen Tundra.

Pro Football Focus graded every Bucs defensive player from Sunday’s win, and these were the 10 highest-rated.

These Bucs offensive players woke up feeling dangerous in Week 15.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense started with a touchdown to Mike Evans in Week 15 and it simply never stopped.

The Bucs defeated the Green Bay Packers 34-20 at Lambeau Field and moved to 7-7 on the year. It was perhaps the most high-flying the offense has been, spreading the ball around in the endzone to four different players for scores and making use of both the run game and the passing game. It was a particularly big day for quarterback Baker Mayfield, who put up a perfect passer rating on the road.

Pro Football Focus graded every Bucs offensive player from Sunday’s action and, naturally, they were impressed. Here are the 10 highest-graded Bucs offensive players for Week 15, per PFF:

The worst offensive players in Tampa Bay’s win over Atlanta, per PFF

These five offensive players were PFF’s lowest-graded in their Week 14 grades for Tampa Bay.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense may have put up 27 points, but it wasn’t a strong performance all the way through.

The offense had a successful final drive to get the win on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons 29-25, but it was a bit of a bumpy road to get there. The offense had eight punts on the day and only really came alive toward the back half of the matchup, and while the run game was good all day and helped move things along, the passing game generally suffered over the day as a whole. Pro Football Focus graded every Bucs offensive player that took snaps, and while some turned in high marks, others didn’t come in quite as well regarded.
