Bucs Week 17 Injury Report: Three players did not participate

While Wednesdays have been walkthroughs for the Bucs for some time now, you can still see which players are injured from the first report this week here:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a fully healthy squad in Week 16 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but that may not be the case in Week 17 against the New Orleans Saints.

Tampa Bay has held what most refer to as a “Walkthrough Wednesday” for a few weeks now, so the team doesn’t actually practice at full speed. As a result, the reports for Wednesdays are typically estimations, but they can do a good job at revealing which players are dealing with certain injuries. In this case, the Bucs have three injuries to contend with — cornerback Carlton Davis has a concussion, edge rusher Shaquil Barrett has a groin injury and tight end Ko Kieft is dealing with a shoulder injury. The other two players on the report in wideout Rakim Jarrett and Mike Greene are both in their 21-day window to return from Injured Reserve.

You can check out the full injury report below:

Meanwhile, the Saints also had three players designated as non-participants, but one (tight end Jimmy Graham) was due to rest. The big name to watch is tackle Ryan Ramczyk, who has been dealing with a knee injury for a bit and did not play against the Rams in Los Angeles in Week 16.

Final Week 16 Injury Report: Bucs add player to report on Friday

A last-minute addition has a key Bucs defender questionable for Sunday’s matchup.

There’s been a last-minute addition to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers injury report.

Safety Antoine Winfield Jr. landed on the report Friday and was listed as a non-participant with a calf injury, making him questionable for Sunday. Defensive lineman Will Gholston is also questionable, and aside from that (and WR Rakim Jarrett, who is still on IR), everyone is good to play for Tampa Bay as full participants.

Here is what the injury report for Week 16 looks like:

Meanwhile, the Jaguars have listed quarterback Trevor Lawrence as questionable after he was a limited participant in practice on Friday, as is the case with wideout Zay Jones and Andre Cisco.

Bucs Week 16 Injury Report: All players participated Wednesday

HC Todd Bowles told media that everyone is in play for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got a lot healthier after Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

Head coach Todd Bowles told media Wednesday that all players are in play to face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and based on the injury report, he meant it. There are eight players on the injury report, but just three of them were limited participants — defensive lineman Will Gholston, wideout Chris Godwin and DL Vita Vea. Everyone else was a full participant, including safety Ryan Neal, linebacker Devin White and cornerback Carlton Davis, all of whom missed last week’s game.

Here’s what the injury report for Wednesday looked like:

The big story for Jacksonville is quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who is not participating due to a concussion he suffered against the Baltimore Ravens. Coach Doug Pederson said that Lawrence is “progressing well”, but his status for Sunday remains to be seen. Additionally, offensive lineman Walker Little did not participate due to a hamstring injury.

Bucs Final Week 15 Injury Report: Two players out, two doubtful, many questionable

Tampa Bay’s injury situation remains dire heading into the weekend.

While there was some marginal improvement from Thursday to Friday, things still don’t look good for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The team released its final injury report for Week 15, and quite a few players may not be able to play. Cornerback Carlton Davis and defensive lineman Will Gholston are both confirmed out, while DL Vita Vea and safety Ryan Neal are doubtful. The other four players — CB Jamel Dean, wideout Chris Godwin, long snapper Zach Triner and linebacker Devin White — are questionable, and head coach Todd Bowles said they would be game-time decisions.

Here’s what the final injury report looks like:

On the Packers’ side, the only player doubtful is WR Christan Watson, who is dealing with a hamstring injury. Seven other players are questionable, including CB Jaire Alexander, running backs A.J. Dillon and Aaron Jones and S Darnell Savage.

Bucs Week 15 Injury Report: Little improvement on Thursday

It’s looking like the Bucs could be very banged up heading into Green Bay.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be in dire straits heading into their Week 15 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

The team released its Thursday injury report, and it featured just two changes (and only one major). Cornerback Jamel Dean was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday and linebacker Devin White got back to practice as a full participant. Everyone else — six other players — did not participate, and it includes some major contributors. CB Carlton Davis, defensive lineman Will Gholston, wideout Chris Godwin, safety Ryan Neal and DT Vita Vea all didn’t practice, and if they don’t play, the Bucs could be severely hampered heading to Lambeau Field.

Here is what Thursday’s injury report looks like:

The Packers now have just two players not participating, including running back A.J. Dillon and wideout Christian Watson.

Final Bucs Week 14 Injury Report: Two Bucs players out, two questionable

Tampa Bay’s injury situation appears to not be as bad as it could have been heading into Sunday against Atlanta.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be a bit healthier than anticipated heading into their crucial Week 14 matchup.

The initial big concern was with defensive tackle Vita Vea, who has not participated in practice all week. However, he was at practice on Friday and was labeled as questionable for the game, which could be a big help for the defense if he’s able to go. Linebacker Devin White and cornerback Jamel Dean will be out for the game, so LB SirVocea Dennis will likely get his share of reps with LB K.J. Britt questionable to play. LB Lavonte David will make his return against the Falcons after being hurt against the San Francisco 49ers.

Meanwhile, Atlanta has four players out — LB Nate Landman (knee), DL LaCale London (knee), OL Kaleb McGary (knee) and DL David Onyemata (ankle). Five players are questionable, including CBs Jeff Okudah and A.J. Terrell.

Bucs Week 14 Injury Report: Three defensive players to watch for Sunday

The Bucs could one again deal with some significant defensive injuries heading into Week 14.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ injury woes may continue going into a crucial Week 13 match against the Atlanta Falcons.

Linebacker Lavonte David was a full participant once again, so it’s probably safe to say he’ll be back in action on Sunday. There’s a greater concern with three other defensive players, though — CB Jamel Dean, whose ankle is still hurt after Tampa Bay’s game against San Francisco, LB Devin White, whose foot is still hurt, and defensive tackle Vita Vea, who isn’t practicing due to a toe injury. WR Chris Godwin took a day off for rest, but those three defensive players will be the big questions heading into the weekend.

Here’s what the second injury report of the week looks like:

The Falcons had four non-participants — LB Nate Landman (knee), OL Kaleb McGary (knee), CB Jeff Okudah (ankle) and DL (David Onyemata).

Bucs Week 14 Injury Report: Key Bucs player back in action

Five Bucs did not participate in practice on Wednesday, but one big defensive player was a full participant.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers still have injury problems, but one big player is back in the fold after missing the last two games.

Linebacker Lavonte David was listed as a full participant in practice (despite it being a walkthrough) and head coach Todd Bowles said that David is officially “back” after his injury. Unfortunately, there are still problems — cornerback Josh Hayes (illness), linebacker J.J. Russell (personal matter), defensive lineman Vita Vea (toe) and linebacker Devin White (foot) were non-participants. CB Jamel Dean remains out with his ankle injury.

Here is what the first injury report of the game week looks like:

Of the Falcons players who aren’t resting, offensive lineman Drew Dalman (ankle), LB Nate Landman (knee), OL Kaleb McGary (knee) and DL David Onyemata (ankle) did not participate.

Bucs Week 13 Injury Report: New name added to list on Thursday

Tampa Bay’s injury report got a bit worse on Thursday with a new named added and another player not participating after he did on Wednesday.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers injury report has taken a turn for the worse on Thursday.

Linebacker Lavonte David, corner Jamel Dean and LB SirVocea Dennis still are not participating in practice, but wideout Chris Godwin was added to the list Thursday as a limited participant due to a neck injury. On top of that, linebacker Devin White was a limited participant on Wednesday, but sat out of Thursday’s practice.

Here’s what Thursday’s injury report looks like:

The Panthers still have a large amount of players on their injury list, with three more added in wideout Jonathan Mingo, offensive lineman Nash Jensen and safety Xavier Woods. WR Laviska Shenault was on the injured list on Wednesday, but was taken off of it upon being placed on injured reserve.

Bucs Week 13 Injury Report: Four players non-participants Wednesday

Injuries look much the same as they did last week for Tampa Bay heading into Week 13.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers conducted a walkthrough practice on Wednesday, but if they had gone, things would be much of the same on the injury front.

Linebacker Lavonte David and cornerback Jamel Dean still did not participate in practice (just an estimation, as the team just did a walkthrough), and head coach Todd Bowles said to reporters that the two are still injured. LB SirVocea Dennis sat out with an illness, while defensive lineman Mike Greene is still battling a calf injury and was designated out as well. Quarterback Baker Mayfield would have been a full participant and is expected to play on Sunday.

Here’s what the injury report for Wednesday looks like:

Meanwhile, the Carolina Panthers seem to have just about everyone on their roster on the injury report. Notable players to watch include CB Jaycee Horn and safety Jeremy Chinn, both of whom could return to action against the Buccaneers in Week 13.
