Prediction
Bucks 112, Kings 100
Moneyline (ML)
The Bucks (-455) win this game 80% of the time, according to BetMGM‘s implied odds. The Eastern Conference’s top seed is 8-2 across its last 10 games and 15-4 away from home for the season. The Bucks are also 13-3 against Western Conference opponents. While they lost 126-104 to the San Antonio Spurs Monday, they bounced back with a 107-98 win over the Golden State Warriors Wednesday.
The Kings (+340) offer a 3-1 return on your investment, but that number should still be higher against a mostly healthy Bucks side. Sacramento won each of its last two games but is still just 3-7 across its last 10 outings and is 8-10 at home for the season. The moneyline draws a hard PASS from me.
New to sports betting? A $10 bet on the Bucks to win the game returns a profit of just $2.50. It’s merely a moderate interest rate while your money’s tied up for the 2.5-3 hour game.
Line/Against the Spread (ATS)
Turn a real profit by backing the BUCKS (-8.5, -115) to win by at least 9 points. The same $10 bet fetches a return of $8.70. The Bucks are 21-18 against the spread overall and 10-9 on the road. The Kings (+8.5, -106) are 20-18 ATS overall and 7-11 at home.
Seven of the Bucks’ last eight victories were by margins of at least 9 points.
Over/Under (O/U)
Take the UNDER 224.5 (-115). The Kings have been surprisingly competent on defense, allowing just 108.5 points per game, while the Bucks allow 107.1 PPG. The Kings score just 106.2 PPG. Look for both sides to fall short of their season averages (Bucks average 118.9 PPG).
