Dodgers reliever Brusdar Graterol’s mom threw an absolutely perfect first pitch

This was such a cool moment for Brusdar Graterol and his mom.

For Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Brusdar Graterol, his baseball skills clearly run in the family.

After an emotional reunion between Grateol and his mother Ysmalia on Tuesday, the Dodgers invited Graterol’s mom to the team’s Thursday game against the San Francisco Giants to throw out the first pitch.

Well, she threw an absolutely perfect pitch to her son, who caught the ball as it crossed home plate. Like, it was a textbook pitch, as good as you could possibly ask for in a first pitch.

Graterol’s mom was a former softball pitcher in Venezuela, so that absolutely worked in her favor. After the impressive pitch, Graterol embraced his mom with a big hug as they soaked in the awesome moment together.

This is just the absolute best, and it’s a testament to why it’s so cool when families get involved with first pitches.

It’s been an emotional week for Graterol, and he got to celebrate his mom being able to attend his games in the most special way.

Dodgers pitcher Brusdar Graterol casually threw a 102.5 mph sinker that had fans in utter disbelief

How did he make this look so effortless?????

By now chances are you know that Dodgers reliever Brusdar Graterol has some of the nastiest stuff in the league and that he can reach triple digits on the radar gun while looking like he’s barely even trying to throw the ball with any type of speed behind it.

Well, he did it again last night in the Dodgers’ season-saving, 7-2, win in Game 4 of their NLDS with the Giants and this pitch might be the biggest head-scratcher of the season.

I say that because I have no idea how Graterol made this 102.5 mph sinker look so darn easy.

Check this thing out:

It looks like he’s just throwing BP but in reality HE’S THROWING A 102.5 MPH SINKER.

Dodgers’ Brusdar Graterol struck out Sam Hilliard with the silliest 102 mph pitch of the year

What’s a hitter supposed to do with this?

Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Brusdar Graterol has some of nastiest stuff in all of Major League Baseball right now and those skills were on display again last night in Denver when he struck out Sam Hilliard with three very ridiculous pitches.

Like, I don’t know how anyone is supposed to get in the batter’s box and do anything with the stuff Graterol throws.

What’s even more impressive about this is how effortless he makes it all look. Graterol threw two 102 mph pitches during this at-bat and he did it out of the stretch with not a lot of physical movement.

Check out these three pitches:

NAS. TY.

That last pitch was just silly.

What are you supposed to do there as a hitter!?

Dodgers pitcher Brusdar Graterol’s 99 mph and 101 mph sinkers had MLB fans in awe

This is video-game type stuff from Brusdar Graterol.

I can’t imagine what it’s like for a hitter to face Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Brusdar Graterol but I have to believe it’s not a very enjoyable experience because what he can do with a baseball is pretty ridiculous.

The 22-year-old righty can make throwing pitches 99 mph or even higher look so darn effortless that it will make you wonder at first if something is wrong with the radar gun.

On Sunday he threw an absolutely nasty 99 mph sinker against the Mets that Jonathan Villar swung at but had no chance of hitting it.

Take a look this video-game type stuff from Graterol:

I mean, yeah, what are you supposed to do with that as a batter?

Look at what Graterol did Thursday night against the Mets:

101 mph! With tail!

What!?

And look at how smooth this is:

Mookie Betts trade on hold as Red Sox review medical records

According to a report from The Athletic, the medical records for Brusdar Graterol – a pitcher with a history of injuries, including Tommy John – have the Red Sox projecting him as a reliever, not a starter, therefore changing his value in the blockbuster trade.
