Bruins at Kings odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Bruins 3, Kings 2
Money line
The BRUINS (-130) have played well on this road trip, but wins over the Kraken and Sharks isn’t exactly a huge undertaking. This game against the Kings (+105) will be the biggest test, perhaps of the entire trip.
L.A. has been rock solid lately, but it hasn’t fared well in recent years against Boston. The Kings are just 2-5 in the past seven meetings, and the road team has won five of the past six in this series. Back the B’s.
Against the spread
The Kings +1.5 (-270) are quite expensive, costing you over two-and-a-half times your initial stake. That’s quite a bit of risk, and if you like L.A., just play them straight up. However, I like Boston much better due to the series trends, and the fact it is equally as hot.
AVOID.
Over/Under
The UNDER 5.5 (-115) is the lean in this one. For Boston, the Under is an impressive 5-0-2 across the past seven outings, including 5-0-1 in the past six on the road. The Over cashed in Saturday’s game for L.A., but the Under is 2-1 in the previous three outings, with the Kings yielding just 1.67 goals per game during the span.
