2023 Basketball Prospects: Baye Fall’s Recruiting Profile

Here is prospect 2023: Baye Fall’s recruiting profile

Auburn is putting in the work to land the best center in the country.

[autotag]Baye Fall[/autotag] is the top center in the 2023 recruiting class and he recently told Joe Tipton of On3 that Auburn is one of the schools recruiting him the hardest.

Fall is just the latest in a long line of five-star players that [autotag]Bruce Pearl[/autotag] and Co. have prioritized and they have won more than their fair share of those battles.

The Tigers have done especially well with big men lately, landing Walker Kessler, Yohan Traore, and Johni Broome in back-to-back years.

Fall is still developing offensively but uses his 6-foot-10 frame effectively on the offensive glass to create easy put-back dunks and to block shots defensively.

His recruitment is far from over, but the Tigers did get his first official visit and can point to developing Kessler into a first-round draft pick when they recruit Fall.

The expectations are high for this Auburn basketball team.

Bruce Pearl and his Tigers get the season rolling against Morehead State Tuesday night but before the season starts, USA TODAY went to each of their local writers to get a bold prediction about the team they cover.

Bennet Durando of the Montgomery Advertiser wrote the following bold prediction about this Auburn basketball team.

Even with Flanigan out until at least mid-December, Auburn will be back as an SEC contender. No more Pearl-style small ball. Smith and Walker Kessler will stretch the floor and be one of the best frontcourts in the country.

The Tigers have depth at every position and will be able to wear down opposing teams over the course of 40 minutes. This helped Auburn pull away in their 68-54 win in the exhibition game against Southern Indiana.
