This is not the first time that team captain Myles Garrett has sought accountability after a tough loss. And as the Cleveland Browns dropped to 3-7 on the season, losing to the Buffalo Bills, Garrett had more to say on the team’s practice habits. This time, Garrett stated there is a lack of importance on taking the ball away in practice.

Asked about the emphasis on creating turnovers, Garrett stated:

“The lack of importance when we go out there to practice. It just has to be more important to us if we want to force those takeaways in a game. We have goals… and we have to be better. Once we start forcing those takeaways like we have been the last couple of years, then we will see some of the results start to fall in our favor.”

Browns vs. Bills Instant Analysis: Browns waste another good showing from Jacoby Brissett

The Browns dropped to 3-7 on the season after failing to capitalize on a heroic performance from Jacoby Brissett.

The Cleveland Browns have now dropped to 3-7 on the season after a 31-23 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Wrapping up a wacky week where both teams were forced to travel to Detroit due to a snowstorm in Buffalo, the Bills were still able to take care of business, advancing to 7-3 on the season.

What makes this worse? The Browns wasted a solid and borderline heroic performance from Jacoby Brissett. While his numbers are not impressive, Brissett made plays in and out of the pocket and was frequently let down by his receivers, but he did manage to hit Amari Cooper for a 25-yard touchdown. He finished the game with a line of 28-of-41 passing for 324 yards and three touchdowns on the day.

Martin Emerson leaves game in second quarter vs. Bills

Up 7-3 on the Buffalo Bills after an Amari Cooper touchdown on the opening drive of the game, the defense has bucked up on two straight drives. The Browns, however, have not had much luck running the football, and the loss of Pocic has been the primary factor in this one. The Browns and Bills have announced their inactives for today’s game. One surprise, however, is rookie defensive end Isaiah Thomas.

As the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills near closer to game time, they have each announced their inactives list for the day. The Bills will be without multiple starters and first round cornerback Kaiir Elam, while the Browns look as healthy as they have been all season.
