The Mahomes family is about to grow from three to four.

Brittany, Patrick, and Skye went all out in their gender reveal and everyone was thrilled by the result. They used water pistols that would shoot out pink or blue liquid, depending on what the baby is going to be.

The Kansas Chiefs’ quarterback and his family had a great time with it.

#Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes revealed the gender of their second child with a cute video!

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany Mahomes revealed they were expecting their second child back in late May. Now, they’ve officially revealed what gender their second baby will be with a cute gender reveal video shared on social media.

In the video, the couple asks friends and family to take a guess at the gender of baby No. 2. Nearly everyone thought that it would be a boy.

Spoiler alert. 

When the couple picked up squirt guns filled with colored water, the water would reveal their next child to be a boy!

Patrick teased that the reveal was coming at the end of the Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp. He also weighed in on whether he’d like a boy or a girl.

“I’m extremely excited,” Mahomes said. “The gender reveal is coming up soon. Hopefully we get a boy, but I’ll love him or her either way. It’s going to be awesome.”

Patrick and Brittany are getting a son and Sterling Skye Mahomes is getting a baby brother. You could tell Patrick’s excitement from the video, he went to immediately hug his father, Patrick Mahomes Sr., and then he took a B-line for the pool and jumped right in.

Now we get to take guesses at what the name of the baby boy will be. Are we getting Patrick Mahomes III? We’ll find out soon enough.

Brittany and Patrick Mahomes are expecting their second child.

They have a daughter, Sterling Skye, who is at the toddler stage, having had her first birthday earlier this year.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ quarterback was asked if he had any preference for what their second child will be and he responded with an honest answer.

“I’m extremely excited. The gender reveal is coming up soon,” Mahomes said. “Hopefully we get a boy, but I’ll love him or her either way. It’s going to be awesome.

“Sterling is such an athlete already. She’s so cool, she’s so calm that I just know, girl or boy, it’s going to be the wildest child ever. Hopefully, Sterling teaches her or him the good ways and we can have a nice household at the Mahomes household. Brittany will have her hands full for sure.”

We’re sure he wants a happy, healthy bundle of joy.

#Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is going to be a dad again as he and his wife Brittany Mahomes are expecting their second child!

The Mahomes family announced some happy news on Sunday, May 29th.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany welcomed their first daughter, Sterling Skye Mahomes, to the world on February 20, 2021. Well, Sterling will be getting a new sibling soon.  

Mahomes shared on his Twitter account that his family is expecting child No. 2. He’s already been so elated to be a #girldad the first time around, so he’s sure to be excited to add another child to the growing family. Perhaps a boy this time around?
