The Milwaukee Brewers (63-54) and Chicago White Sox (47-70) play the 2nd game of a 3-game set Saturday. First pitch from Guaranteed Rate Field is at 7:15 p.m. ET (FOX). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Brewers vs. White Sox odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.
Season series: Brewers lead 1-0
The White Sox led 5-2 entering the top of the 5th inning Friday, but the end result was depressingly typical for those following Chicago’s South Side team. Brewers SS Willy Adames hit a 2-RBI single in the top of the 5th and C William Contreras brought in 2 more runs from a single to the pitcher and an error by White Sox LHP Aaron Bummer.
But hope was not all lost for the White Sox. Chicago 1B Andrew Vaughn tied the game in the 7th, thanks to a fielder’s choice to 2B. But in the 10th inning, Brewers PH Mark Canha hit an RBI double and Milwaukee won 7-6.

Brewers at White Sox picks and predictions
Prediction
Brewers 3, White Sox 2
Moneyline
There are a lot of reasons to AVOID the White Sox moneyline. Chicago is in the bottom 5 in MLB with their 47-70 ML record. On top of that, their record is in the bottom 5 after a loss (30-39), as an underdog (28-54), and in interleague games (11-19).
That being said, Milwaukee at -160 is too juicy—so its best to look at the run line.
Run line/Against the spread
It doesn’t feel great picking the White Sox +1.5, but the Brewers have not been good ATS this season. Milwaukee has covered in fewer games than Chicago this year.
And if you take a closer look at certain scenarios, the Brewers will have some problems tonight. After a win, the Brewers have the 3rd-worst ATS record (26-36). They cover in just 6 of their 19 games as a road favorite, which is also 3rd-worst in MLB.
Despite their poor record, they are just over 50% ATS after a loss (35-34).
LEAN WHITE SOX +1.5 (-120).

Over/Under
Both these teams have hit the Under more often than the Over this season. The White Sox go Under in 53% of their games, while the Brewers sit at 54%.
While both pitchers are more green this season than what you would expect, they have shown good command and an ability to keep the score low.
Tie that with the fact that Milwaukee has gone Over in 4 straight games — despite their 31-24-2 Under record — and I see a regression coming.
BET UNDER 8.5 (-115).
