Floyd Mayweather has teased a comeback many times over the years. Well, rumor has it once again that the 43-year-old boxing icon is considering some sort of return to the ring.

Is it actually going to happen? And if so, what form will it take? Will Mayweather face a prime, young opponent? Or will he opt for another gimmie, similar to his mismatch with Conor McGregor in 2017? Or will it be an exhibition, a la Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr.?

In this episode of The Ak & Barak Show, courtesy of DAZN, hosts Akin Reyes and Barak Bess give their thoughts on the never-ending Mayweather chatter.

Who is the top heavyweight in the world?

Most would say Tyson Fury, who is unbeaten and coming off his sensational knockout of Deontay Wilder to win one of the four major heavyweight titles in February.

Could a case also be made for Anthony Joshua, who holds the other three belts? Joshua might have a deeper resume than Fury and he avenged his only loss, easily outpointing Andy Ruiz Jr. to regain his titles in December.

And where do the other top heavyweights fit in?

In this episode of The Ak & Barak Show, courtesy of DAZN, hosts Akin Reyes and Barak Bess give their thoughts on the heavyweight rankings.

The Boxing Junkie pound-for-pound list hasn’t budged because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Here is an updated look at our Top 15 and their immediate plans.

Tyson Fury talks a lot about an all-U.K. heavyweight showdown against Anthony Joshua.

One problem: Fury still has to get past Deontay Wilder in their third fight to set up a title-unification fight with Joshua, who must also beat Kubrat Pulev first.

Is Fury getting ahead of himself? Is he focused too much on what might happen instead of the challenge in front of him? Or is he merely doing his part to set the stage for arguably the biggest fight in British boxing history?

In this episode of The Ak & Barak Show, courtesy of DAZN, hosts Aken Reyes and Barak Bess give their thoughts on all the chatter about a Fury-Joshua fight..

Alexander Povetkin’s one-punch knockout of Dillian Whyte this past Saturday turned Whyte’s career upside down and altered the immediate future of the heavyweight division.

Fans and others haven’t held back in taking shots at Whyte on social media, focusing on the fact that the Londoner seemed to be more focused on his position as mandatory challenger to Tyson Fury’s title than his fight with Povetkin.

Bob Arum, co-promoter of Fury, was among them. He tweeted: “Dillian Whyte was so busy fighting for his WBC mandatory position that he didn’t see Povetkin’s uppercut, which knocked him cold on his ass.”

Whyte will now have to defeat Povetkin in an expected rematch if he hopes to fight for a major title anytime soon.

And with Whyte out of the way, the winner of Fury-Deontay Wilder III is free to fight the winner of Anthony Joshua-Kubrat Pulev for the undisputed heavyweight championship.

In this episode of The Ak & Barak Show, courtesy of DAZN, hosts Akin Reyes and Barak Bess discuss the fallout from Povetkin’s knockout.
