Broncos fans loved Peyton Manning’s color scheme for Michelob Ultra’s Super Bowl commercial

Peyton Manning wore a blue shirt and used an orange bowling ball in Michelob Ultra’s Super Bowl commercial.

Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning teamed up with Steve Buscemi, Brooks Koepka, Jimmy Butler, Nneka Ogwumike, Alex Morgan and Serena Williams to star in Michelob Ultra’s Super Bowl commercial this year.

In the ad, Manning sports a blue shirt and an orange bowling ball. Denver Broncos fans are convinced that’s not a coincidence.

A bowler nailed an unreal 7-10 split and the announcers rightfully lost their minds

“HE DID IT!”

A 7-10 split in bowling is like a baseball perfect game, or so I learned after what happened on Sunday.

When it happens, it’s a BIG deal. And this one was accomplished by an 18-year-old (!) named Anthony Neuer while on a PBA Tour broadcast, which was just the fourth time that’s happened during a televised match. In fact, per USA TODAY Sports, it’s the first time it’s happened IN 30 YEARS!

That in itself is worth highlighting … but this call from Rob Stone was epic, and rightfully so. He called Neuer the “Ginger Assassin” and, well, you’ve just got to experience it for yourself:

Here are some other 7-10s for you to enjoy:

What an accomplishment, what a call.

WATCH: Enes Kanter, Boston Celtics go bowling in the Disney ‘bubble’

Several Boston Celtics joined center Enes Kanter for some bowling this weekend, including Javonte Green, Tacko Fall, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

The Boston Celtics — at least some of them, anyway — availed themselves of the bowling facilities open to them at the Disney NBA campus at Lake Buena Vista, Florida this weekend in some of their downtime.

Center Enes Kanter posted a clip of himself, two way big man Tacko Fall, star wings Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum and shooting guard Javonte Green got in some sets, with Fall in particular looking like a natural for the sport despite full-size bowling balls looking like bocce balls to the 7-foot-5 center.

Tatum is evidently shaping up to be a multi-sport athlete based off of his score of 180 visible on the scoreboard; he’s evidently got quite the golf stroke going for him as well.

You have to give it to Kanter for not being a sore loser here, though — it’s the man himself poking fun of his score of 71 at the end of the video, after all.

Check out the clip embedded above yourself if you want a glimpse at Boston bowling in the ‘bubble’.

Here’s the story behind Pete Weber’s famous ‘Who do you think you are? I am!’ moment

Weber aimed it at a fan rooting against him.

It’s a very important anniversary on February 26, 2020.

Eight years ago, star bowler Pete Weber won his fifth U.S. Open with a championship-clinching strike and celebrated with one of the wildest catchphrases ever uttered: “WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? I AM!”

Did it make sense? No! Does it matter? An emphatic NO! It’s a trash-talking statement for the ages, a twisty zen koan that you don’t need to unpack to know what he’s saying.

But what’s the story behind that moment that happened eight years ago one Wednesday? Here’s Weber himself explaining what happened (and first, of course, here’s the infamous clip):

“Being caught up in the moment of throwing the strike and being as excited as I was, I had a kid rooting against me during the match, and he was doing it loud enough for me to hear. And it kind of made me mad, and people know, don’t make me mad on TV, ’cause I’ll just get better. But what I really wanted to say was, ‘Who do you think you are rooting against me? I’m the man of this tournament!’ That’s what I really wanted to say.”

So that was aimed at a fan! I didn’t know that until this anniversary.

Le’Veon Bell was very happy about bowling a career high after being ruled out of Jets game

“I rolled a 251 off the flu.”

Le’Veon Bell was ruled out of last Sunday’s Dolphins-Jets game after missing practice Thursday and Friday because of the flu. So how’d he spend his Saturday night before that game?

He went bowling for a few hours, which didn’t go over all that well with fans of the team.

It’s just not a great look for a star player who’s getting paid millions of dollars, even if the Jets are basically done for the season.

The running back talked to the media on Tuesday (the Jets play the Ravens on Thursday) and said he was surprised that this bowling night became a thing. But he was also happy that he bowled a career-high 251 while coming off the flu:

I’m sure Jets fans just love that. I’m sure Steelers fans definitely do love that.

Bell also talked about how he hasn’t been used correctly this year:

Good times for the Jets!
