The Chicago Bears might’ve escaped Week 12 with a 19-14 victory over the New York Giants, but they didn’t escape injury.
Aside from special teams standpoint Sherrick McManis, who suffered a groin injury, right tackle Bobby Massie suffered an ankle injury in the third quarter of Sunday’s win.
According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, Massie suffered a high-ankle sprain and is expected to be out for the next few weeks.

Massie was relieved by Cornelius Lucas in the third quarter against the Giants. While the Bears will likely activate Alex Bars come Thursday, look for Lucas to get the start in place of Massie.
The Bears have a short turnaround following Sunday’s win over the Giants as they head to Detroit for a Thanksgiving meeting against the Lions.
