Big Ten media days is set to begin at the end of this week. A weekend full of press conferences and insight from all of the Big Ten’s coaches and select players.

Media days give the fans great behind the scenes and in depth looks at their favorite programs.

Michigan State has been honorably represented by the likes of Khari Willis, Kirk Cousins, and more fine Spartan players of the past.

This year, MSU will be respectfully represented by Xavier Henderson, Drew Beesley and Jalen Nailor.

The Big Ten cancels football Media Day and the 2020 Kickoff Luncheon

The Big Ten has cancelled Media Day with no rescheduling in sight

[lawrence-newsletter]The Big Ten announced earlier this afternoon that the 2020 Big Ten Football Media Day and Kickoff Luncheon will not be taking place in July as originally scheduled.

With the world still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has not been a date set for rescheduling the event. The conference expanded on the cancellation in a press release.

“Following discussions with Big Ten member institutions, the Big Ten Conference announced today that the 2020 Big Ten Football Media Days and Kickoff Luncheon scheduled to take place July 22-23 in Chicago will not be held as scheduled in order to ensure the health, safety and wellness of our student-athletes, coaches, administrators, fans, partners and media. The Conference will continue to monitor developing information and continue to consult with medical experts to determine the appropriate dates and format for our annual event.”

The decision is strictly from a global health perspective. Hopefully college football in August will be a possibility for the Big Ten and the country as a whole.
