USC football 2024 schedule announced with all 12 game dates

This is a brutal schedule. Welcome to the #B1G leagues, USC.

We knew which 12 teams the USC Trojans would play in their 2024 football schedule, but now we have game dates as well as the opponents.

The Big Ten released its full schedule grid on Thursday afternoon, enabling USC and the other incoming Big Ten schools to plan their full season schedules. Washington, Oregon and UCLA join USC as new Big Ten football members next year. It’s a new world for the Trojans and the other Pac-12 teams making the switch to a new conference.

Meanwhile, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah move to the Big 12 Conference in 2024. Stanford and Cal will go to the Atlantic Coast Conference. Oregon State and Washington State are still figuring out what to do. It will be a year unlike any other in college sports.

Here is the full 2024 USC football schedule, including the game dates and the weeks off for the Trojans:

Wisconsin’s entire 2024 football schedule has been officially announced

The 2024 Wisconsin football schedule is here

The Big Ten Conference revealed the full 2024 football schedule on Thursday afternoon, as the conference welcomes USC, Oregon, UCLA, and Washington into the fold.

Wisconsin will see a pair of those new schools in 2024 as they travel to USC and host Oregon. Wisconsin will also see powerhouse Alabama at Camp Randall in their third and final non-conference game of the year.

Wisconsin will always be playing Iowa and Minnesota, even with the expanded conference structure. Rivalry games being kept was a key for conference leaders in the expansion.

The Big Ten will do away with divisions, but still have a Big Ten Championship set for December 7 at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Here is a look at Wisconsin’s complete 2024 schedule:

USC’s full list of Big Ten football opponents in 2024

This time, USC’s Big Ten roster of opponents won’t change. This one’s final.

USC knows the nine Big Ten football teams it will play in 2024. The opponent list was released on Thursday. Times and dates will be disclosed at a later point in time.

2024 Big Ten football schedule: Penn State is USC’s featured home game

James Franklin was in the mix for the USC coaching position in 2021. Now he’ll visit the Coliseum in 2024.

The new Big Ten football opponent lists were released on Thursday. The dates and times haven’t been revealed yet, but the teams on each school’s schedule have now been disclosed.

USC was originally scheduled to visit Penn State and host Michigan in 2024. Then Oregon and Washington joined the Big Ten, which forced the conference to scrap its 2024 schedule and start over. The opponent list for the new 2024 schedule has flip-flopped USC’s big games. The Michigan game is now a road game instead of a home game. The Penn State game is a home game instead of a road game.

USC will visit Michigan in revised 2024 Big Ten football schedule

#B1G game, #B1G news: #USC will travel to Ann Arbor to play Michigan in 2024. The Trojans will visit the Big House.

USC football fans got some big news from the Big Ten on Thursday. The Big Ten Conference didn’t provide times and dates for 2024 football games, but the league did release the new sets of opponents for each Big Ten school.

USC was originally scheduled to host Michigan in 2024, before Oregon and Washington joined the Big Ten and forced a restructuring of the schedule. Now the Trojans have learned they will go to Ann Arbor and the Big House to face the Wolverines next year.

247Sports has more details:

“USC’s 2024 conference home opponents will be Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers and Wisconsin, according to a release from USC. The Trojans’ Big Ten Conference away games will include Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Washington and UCLA.”

Penn State was originally a road game. Now the Trojans will face the Nittany Lions at home.

The schedules for Big Ten football — with the lists of opponents, not dates or times (those will come later) — have been set through the 2028 season. Oregon and Washington will join USC and UCLA in the Big Ten.

Do we realize what could soon happen in college sports?

Many aspects of college sports will change if the #Pac12 dies, but one stands out: That new #B1G football schedule will be gone.

The larger theater of conference realignment is creating many absurd scenarios and realities as we speak. The very real possibility that the Big Ten might expand to 20 schools if the Pac-12 dies is at the top of the list. The Big Ten might add Oregon, Washington, Stanford and California if the Pac-12 splinters and becomes extinct. That would be a seismic development in college sports, one year after USC and UCLA left for the Big Ten.

So many aspects of college sports would change, and in the course of time, we’re going to tackle those various subjects … but we can’t hit all of those topics in one shot. We have to do this one subject at a time.

In this piece, we focus on the specific matter of the Big Ten football schedule.

It will need to be thrown into the garbage bin. USC’s new conference will have to start fresh in constructing its new schedule.

Let’s walk through this tangled, dizzying and absurd process:

Why UCLA lost more than it gained in the Big Ten football scheduling format

USC’s #B1G schedules won’t be easy, but the Trojans are building a strong-enough program to withstand the Big Ten. UCLA? Not so much.

The release of the 2024 and 2025 Big Ten football schedules has created so many different conversations about the balance of power in the conference when USC and UCLA join next year.

We have discussed USC’s specific schedule on many different levels and from various vantage points, but we haven’t spent all that much time talking about the Trojans’ Big Ten travel partner, the UCLA Bruins.

Did the Bruins benefit from the way the Big Ten structured its football schedule, or did the Bruins suffer?

Keep in mind that the Big Ten has previously used a divisional format. The Big Ten West has been noticeably weaker than the Big Ten East. Big Ten West teams didn’t have to play Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State — the beasts of the East — on a relentless, annual basis. Their annual opponents were Illinois, Purdue, Minnesota, Northwestern, Iowa, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. That’s a much better scheduling arrangement than what Big Ten East teams had to deal with.

UCLA, therefore, would have really benefited from a divisional structure, but the Big Ten is getting rid of that very structure when the Bruins and Trojans enter. UCLA will have to play Ohio State and Michigan as often as Illinois and Purdue.

USC is built to withstand that rigor and degree of difficulty. UCLA is not.

We discussed this with Mark Rogers at The Voice of College Football.

Trojans Wire goes on YouTube show to discuss the Big Ten football scheduling format

We talked #B1G scheduling and the upcoming move for USC — plus a lot of other college football topics — on The Jacksonian with Jackson Johnson.

The 2024 Big Ten football schedule is a big discussion point for USC football fans. We are still several weeks away from August camp and the lead-in to the 2023 college football season, the Trojans’ last in the Pac-12 Conference.

Because there are so many details and nuances packed into the Big Ten schedule and its larger format, we are happy to go on various shows and discuss the particulars for college football fans across the country.

There’s a brand-new YouTube show to check out, “The Jacksonian.” The host is Jackson Johnson, who covers national college football and knows quite a lot of facts about the sport’s history from coast to coast.

We invite you to subscribe to The Jacksonian on YouTube, and we thank Jackson for inviting us to be part of the first-ever edition of his new program. We wish Jackson the very best as he launches his YouTube show and provides college football content throughout the coming season.

If you’re a USC fan, which road trip are you making for the 2024 Big Ten season?

If you have the money and the time, which #USC #B1G football road trip are you making in 2024?

The 2024 USC football schedule became known earlier in June, when the Big Ten revealed its 2024 and 2025 football schedules. We already knew that USC would play LSU, Notre Dame, and San Jose State out of conference, but when the Big Ten added its nine-game league schedule, USC learned which 12 opponents would comprise its full 2024 slate.

In the nine-game Big Ten schedule, USC plays four conference home games in 2024 and five road games. Of those five Big Ten road games next year, which one is the road trip you’re making if you have disposable income and the ability to get away for a football weekend? Let’s stop and consider this question:
