Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals enter Sunday’s matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers as underdogs.
Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals (2-5-1) put on quite the show the last time they played a game, defeating a highly-touted Tennessee Titans team, 31-20 in Paul Brown Stadium.
Burrow has been consistently solid in his delivery throughout his rookie season, and that Nov. 1 matchup was no different, as the quarterback completed 26-of-37 passing attempts for 249 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.
Heading into Sunday, Burrow and the Bengals are 7-point underdogs, per BET MGM, as they prepare to face an undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers team on the road at Heinz Field.
It will be no easy task trying to lay damage to the Steelers’ perfect record, but the Titans were a team to beat that several thought would pull out an easy win over Cincinnati, so the saying of “any given Sunday” could certainly ring true here.

The Bengals looked balanced on offense against Tennessee, with a pair of rushing touchdowns out of Giovani Bernard and Samaje Perine matching Burrow’s two touchdown tosses to Tyler Boyd and Bernard.
If the Bengals can find a way to capitalize off this newfound momentum and if Burrow can continue to grow the way we’ve seen him do all season, this team could have a real shot at pulling another upset.
The Bengals and Steelers are set to kick off at 3:25 p.m. CT on Sunday afternoon.

The New Orleans Saints tried out free agent DT Ryan Glasgow, a 2017 Bengals draft pick who recently signed with the Patriots and Texans.

Beefing up the interior defensive line is a priority for the New Orleans Saints. After signing free agent Christian Ringo to their practice squad, the Saints reported a tryout with fourth-year pro Ryan Glasgow on the NFL daily transactions wire.
Glasgow, 27 years old and listed at 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds, was a fourth-round pick by the Cincinnati Bengals during the 2017 draft. He’s been credited with 41 combined tackles and a fumble recovery in 24 games for the Bengals over the last three years, though he missed a lot of time in 2018 and 2019 with subsequent knee injuries.
He joined the Houston Texans practice squad for most of October and recently spent a week with the New England Patriots. Before entering the NFL, Glasgow appeared in 45 games with the Michigan Wolverines in college, totaling 77 tackles (13.5 for loss of yards).
While New Orleans has enough quality players at the top of the depth chart to fill in for the injured Sheldon Rankins, they could use more depth to pad out reps in practice. David Onyemata remains the clear-cut starting defensive tackle next to nose tackle Malcom Brown, with youngsters Shy Tuttle and Malcolm Roach rotating in behind him. Adding experienced veterans like Ringo and Glasgow to the practice squad and scout team would make sense.

The New Orleans Saints lost 2020 free agents like Teddy Bridgewater, Vonn Bell, A.J. Klein, and Eli Apple. How have they done at midseason?
The hard part of NFL free agency is that you can’t re-sign everyone. That’s something the New Orleans Saints experienced this offseason when veteran players like Teddy Bridgewater, A.J. Klein, and Vonn Bell left for fresh starts in other cities around the league.
But how have those departures performed at the midway point in 2020? Some of them have earned captain status with their new teams, while others are already on the job hunt again. Here’s a quick checkup on the biggest names that left New Orleans:

Both Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow have been playing great football.
The Offensive Rookie of the Year award has been a tight race between quarterbacks Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow.
You can make an argument for both signal-callers, but like myself, The Athletic’s Dane Brugler believes that Herbert’s play at the halfway point of the 2020 season is deserving of it.
Despite attempting 68 fewer passes, Herbert has more passing touchdowns (15) than Burrow (11), holding the edge in completion percentage (67.4) and passing yards per game (303.3). He has also been more impressive when it comes to pushing the ball downfield, accounting for 23 passing plays of 20-plus yards, compared to 20 for Burrow. With his three touchdown passes against Denver on Sunday, Herbert joined Deshaun Watson as the only rookie quarterbacks in NFL history with three-plus touchdown passes in four straight games.
Even though Herbert’s record as starting quarterback might not be appealing, he’s been the primary reason why Los Angeles has been able to stay competitive and have huge leads in all of their games. Unfortunately, the other side of the ball has let him down.
The former Oregon product is completing 67.4% of his passes, throwing for 1,820 yards and 15 touchdown passes and 5 interceptions this season. While Burrow is on pace to break Andrew Luck’s rookie passing yards record (4,374), Herbert has two less games under his belt.
The bottom line is that it’s going to be close, but it will be fun to watch how the rest of the season unfolds for both Herbert and Burrow. Either way, the future appears to be bright for both quarterbacks.
Former LSU QB Joe Burrow didn’t leave his sense of humor behind in Baton Rouge.
Anyone who paid a lot of attention to current Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow at LSU knows him for the magic he makes on the field — and just how quirky his personality is.
And he certainly didn’t leave his sense of humor behind in Baron Rouge, either.
The Bengals shared this clip to their Twitter page this week of Burrow going to fist-bump a teammate and it, well, didn’t exactly work out the way he intended.
So he fist-bumped himself, because he won’t leave himself hanging, even if his supporting cast has done so to him in more ways than one on his rookie season.

Well played.
Never leave Joey B hangin' 😂

The Bengals seem to have found a sense of rhythm, much of that thanks to consistently strong performances from Burrow, recording their second win of the season as they took down the Tennessee Titans, 31-20 in Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday.
Burrow and the Bengals will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers next on Sunday at Heinz Field in what could very well shape up to be one of their toughest road contests of the season.
