What quarterback Joe Burrow came in and accomplished at LSU is unparalleled by any other signal-caller who has taken the field in Baton Rouge — and perhaps by any other in college football history.
Pro Football Focus has recognized Burrow for leading the way in multiple statistical areas, with one of the most impressive being his passing grade from a clean pocket, which stands at 94.8.
That’s a solid number at first glance alone, but even more impressive given that its the second-highest mark a player has earned during the PFF college era.

Last year with the Tigers, Burrow passed for a total of 60 touchdowns and just six interceptions, competing 76.3 percent of his passes. He also started 28 games at LSU with a 25-3 record.
He guided the Tigers through a historical season, posting an undefeated record and capping it off with a national championship win to go along with Heisman Trophy honors, multiple shattered records and going first overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Burrow faces quite the task as a rookie looking to help the Cincinnati Bengals turn their offense around, and will quickly have a chance to show what he can do when he takes the reins later this year.
