Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has stepped into the injury limelight once again.

This time, it’s a knee injury for Higgins as his Bengals get ready to take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 16, so here’s a running list of updates before kickoff.

Tee Higgins injury update

  • Higgins is off the injury report and will play on Sunday.
  • Higgins was “limited” on the first injury report of the week, then a straight-up “DNP” on the second due to rest and a knee injury.
  • According to ESPN’s Ben Baby, Higgins is expected to play against the Browns and did side work during that listed “DNP” day.

How long will Tee Higgins be out?

  • Higgins will reportedly play against the Browns. But Bengals fans have been here before with him, multiple times this season alone. He had an injury come out of nowhere to cost him games early in the season, then had a different setback after suffering a soft-tissue injury during a Friday walkthrough that cost him multiple games.

Bengals depth chart

  • Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Andrei Iosivas, Jermaine Burton, Charlie Jones, Isaiah Williams

If Higgins suffers another setback or is limited on Sunday, some of the work could go to embattled rookie Jermaine Burton.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is dealing with a knee injury ahead of his team’s Week 16 game against the Cleveland Browns.

How will injury impact Joe Burrow?

  • Joe Burrow, Jake Browning, Logan Woodside

As a reminder, the Bengals still have Jake Browning behind Burrow and just last week, signed Logan Woodside to the 53-man roster.

How long will Tee Higgins be out?

  • This could be the end of Higgins’ second extended absence of the season. That said, the question then becomes whether he’ll be on a snap count and a decoy, or full-go. And if he doesn’t play, he won’t be back until after the bye.

Bengals depth chart

  • Ja’Marr Chase, Andrei Iosivas, Trenton Irwin, Jermaine Burton, Charlie Jones, Isaiah Williams

Exiting the Jermaine Burton drama, the rookie caught just one pass last week with Higgins out. Ja’Marr Chase had 11 catches for 264 yards and three scores while no other wideout had more than two catches.

Bengals injury updates immediately after Week 9 vs. Raiders

The Bengals suffered injuries around the game against the Raiders in Week 9.

The Cincinnati Bengals got a huge 41-24 win over Las Vegas on Sunday but didn’t emerge unscathed in the process.

Cincinnati suffered multiple injuries to starters, never mind had injuries to the likes of Zack Moss and Tee Higgins hanging over the proceedings.

Here are the latest injury updates from right after the game.

Erick All Jr. injury update

The rookie whose draft stock fell due to injuries suffered one in the second quarter on Sunday after a catch. He limped off the field and went to the blue medical tent with trainers. The team quickly listed him as doubtful to return.

B.J. Hill injury update

One of the team’s key defensive linemen, Hill suffered a rib injury on Sunday and was quickly declared out.

Zack Moss injury update

The starting running back didn’t even make it to the game. Like Higgins the week prior, he suffered an injury on Friday (neck) and the team ruled him out by Sunday morning.

Tee Higgins injury update

Higgins was one of the game’s inactive players after suffering a quad injury during practice on Friday.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins is dealing with a leg injury. Here are the latest updates.

(This story was updated to add new information.)

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is back as the main injury focus, this time ahead of the Week 9 game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Higgins suffered an injury late last week and missed the team’s blowout loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles. He suffered a quad injury in practice.

Tee Higgins injury update

How long will Tee Higgins be out?

  • Impossible to say, given Higgins’ extensive history with soft-tissue injuries. This one happened running a route in practice on a Friday, which is usually a lighter day before a game. And Taylor throws out “day-to-day” often, especially before injury reports come out and get more detailed.

Bengals depth chart

  • Ja’Marr Chase, Andrei Iosivas, Trenton Irwin, Jermaine Burton, Charlie Jones

Iosivas was brutal in Week 8 when asked to take on a bigger role. Perhaps this leads to a bigger workload for the rookie Burton, though he’s had a troubled path to playing time too.

Bengals injury updates immediately after Week 8 vs. Eagles

The Bengals suffered injuries vs. Eagles in Week 8.

The Cincinnati Bengals entered Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles with Tee Higgins as the headline injury of note.

They left the game losers, 37-17, with one major name going down again.

Overall, a rather healthy day for the Bengals in terms of in-game issues. Here’s a quick look at the injury notes.

Orlando Brown Jr. injury update

Brown played despite battling an injury all week. But in the second quarter he was on the bench while Cody Ford manned left tackle. The team later said he was questionable to return with a knee injury, which could potentially mean an aggravation of the issue he entered the day with.

Cam Taylor-Britt injury update

CTB briefly left the game with an injury in the first half, then returned.

Tee Higgins injury update

Higgins was one of the game’s inactive players after suffering a quad injury during practice on Friday.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins expected to play vs. Seahawks

An update on Bengals WR Tee Higgins.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins should be on the field for his team’s game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

So says a new report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, who says Higgins is “expected to play” in Week 6.

Higgins just had his first full practice Friday since the rib injury he suffered on October 1, so it seemed like he’d be a go despite head coach Zac Taylor calling him a game-time decision.

The Bengals got three touchdown passes from Joe Burrow and a franchise record 15 catches for 192 yards and those three touchdowns from Ja’Marr Chase with Higgins out last week, though the Seahawks seem like a much tougher challenge than the Cardinals.

If Higgins can get through Week 6 without issue, the Bengals have a bye right after to rest up. Burrow himself is close to 100 percent.
