New episodes of ‘Behind the Broncos’ share look at training camp, roster cuts

Check out the Broncos in their YouTube series, Behind the Broncos as it chronicles training camp in episode one.

With training camp over, the Denver Broncos can now turn all of their focus to their Monday Night Football showdown with the Seattle Seahawks on September 12.

Before going forward, though, fans now have an opportunity to go back in time and watch how the team got to this point.

Following the popularity of HBO’s Hard Knocks, some NFL teams have come up with their own in-house series to give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the club, with the San Francisco 49ers, New York Giants and New York Jets among those teams.

The Broncos also have their own YouTube series, Behind the Broncos, which released three episodes following the team through training camp, preseason and roster cuts.

The first episode is just under ten minutes, but that’s enough to capture the likes of head coach Nathaniel Hackett, quarterback Russell Wilson and running back Melvin Gordon preparing for training camp. With the Wilson-Hackett pairing something to watch for, having a short, TV-like show to capture it makes the series must-see YouTube for Broncos fans.

In the second episode, defensive backs Justin Simmons and Pat Surtain break down film:

And finally, in the third episode, the show provides a behind-the-scenes look at the team’s roster cuts:

Denver’s in-house media team does a great job with this series, and fans will undoubtedly be eager to see new episodes later in the year.

Latest episode of ‘Behind the Broncos’ gives behind-the-scenes look at team’s draft

The latest episode of ‘Behind the Broncos’ gives a great behind-the-scenes look at the team’s draft

The front office and the head coach must be in lockstep within the NFL structure, and the head coach should be aligned with the general manager and vice versa.

There is a reason why the San Francisco partnership with Kyle Shanahan is still going strong and why the Miami Dolphins moved on from Brian Flores. Last year, the drafting of Trey Lance signaled the strong partnership the 49ers enjoyed between Shanahan and general manager John Lynch.

Similarly, the Broncos are attempting to build a strong program with their new coach, Nathaniel Hackett, through a united vision through the draft.
The team’s YouTube channel recently gave us a behind-the-scenes on their draft day process through their web series, “Behind the Broncos.”

In the video, you can see Broncos GM George Paton, Hackett, and other front-office representatives going through their process of drafting pass rusher Nik Bonitto and tight end Greg Dulcich. Check it out below:

‘Behind the Broncos’ gives behind-the-scenes look at Russell Wilson’s arrival

The Broncos gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at Russell Wilson’s first week in Denver, and it’s awesome.

The Denver Broncos released Episode 3 of this offseason’s “Behind the Broncos” series on their YouTube channel on Saturday.

The latest episode focuses on the arrival of new quarterback Russell Wilson, who officially joined the team via trade last Wednesday.

The episode — and trade — was well-received by fans.

“The energy and the attitude of the entire Organization and the city of Denver changed overnight with one signing,” zen commented on YouTube. “I see nothing but good vibes from Russell Wilson, The future is bright. I can’t wait for the season to start.”

This episode is about 13 and-a-half minutes long, shorter than usual, but the in-house media team had a short turnaround and covered just one topic this time: Wilson.

“Our social media team is immaculate,” Alex Andrews commented. “The music choice, the choice of clips, and timing. Amazing job.”

Once the buzz of free agency dies down, attention will begin to turn to the NFL draft, and more “Behind the Broncos” episodes will be on the way.
