Lindsay Lohan explains why Steph and Ayesha Curry are her son’s godparents

This is a fun connection.

Hey, this is a fun little connection: Lindsay Lohan — who just had her son, 7-month-old Luai — has given the title of godparents to … Steph and Ayesha Curry.

It’s not because she’s a Golden State Warriors fan (although I’ll take a wild guess and say that it’s Luai who will become a Dubs die-hard). No, it’s because — as she explained to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show — she became friends with Ayesha through chef Michael Mina. They hit it off while in Dubai and now the Currys are Luai’s godparents!

How lovely! Check out the clip of Lohan explaining it all below:

The Golden State Warriors guard got a special shoutout from Drake at his concert in Brooklyn.

After taking home the trophy at the top of the leaderboard in the ACC Championship celebrity golf tournament, Steph Curry continued the celebration with a stop in New York City.

Alongside his wife Ayesha and mother, Sonya, Curry was in attendance for Drake’s “It’s All a Blur” tour at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. During the concert, Curry got a special shoutout from the Canadian star rapper.

Curry and his family were shown on the big screen at the venue while Drake gave a special shoutout for the two-time Most Valuable Player.

NBA superstar and two-time league MVP Stephen Curry has been married to his wife Ayesha Curry for well over a decade now, with the pair officially tying the knot on July 30, 2011.

Below, we have put together a fun gallery of pictures of Stephen and Ayesha Curry together throughout the years, including the couple celebrating Curry’s NBA championship victories together.

On Thursday, Curry went through …

On Thursday, Curry went through stretching exercises and drills with the campers before they split onto two courts. He also played some full court with them (why the kids didn’t always pass the ball to him is a mystery). The three-day camp includes dinner at International Smoke, the restaurant Ayesha Curry founded with Michael Mina; a tour of Chase Center, and a night at Lucky Strike bowling alley. On the final night, campers will take a ferry to Tiburon and go to another Mina restaurant, Bungalow Kitchen. Will Tiburon resident Klay Thompson be included? “He’s probably not here, but I’ll invite him over,” Curry said. “He’s the mayor of Tiburon. “I want to give (the campers) a little taste of my home, my backyard, and let them experience what the Bay has to offer.”

Watch: Steph and Ayesha Curry throw out first pitch at A’s vs. Astros game

On Wednesday, Steph and Ayesha Curry hit the baseball diamond for the first pitch at the A’s vs. Astros game.

The Steph Curry championship tour continues to roll on.

Since winning his fourth title with the Golden State Warriors, Curry has played in a celebrity golf tournament and hosted the ESPY awards in Hollywood. On Wednesday, he hit the baseball diamond.

Alongside his wife, Ayesha, Curry took the mound to represent their family’s Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation before the Oakland Athletics met the Houston Astros on Wednesday at the Oakland Coliseum.

While Ayesha fired her pitch off a bounce toward the plate, Curry ripped his fastball a bit outside.

Despite Curry’s miss on the mound, the reigning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player was a good luck charm for the A’s on Wednesday. Behind home runs from Stephen Vogt and Stephen Piscotty, the A’s sealed a 4-2 victory over the Astros to complete a three-game sweep against their division rival.

After Game 5, Stephen Curry walked into …

After Game 5, Stephen Curry walked into his postgame news conference wearing a gray T-shirt that said “Ayesha Curry CAN cook.” His shirt was in response to a sign outside a bar near Fenway Park in Boston that had written in chalk, “Ayesha Curry can’t cook.” It was a pointed dig at Ayesha Curry, Stephen’s wife of more than 10 years, who has made cooking a central part of her public persona. She has written a cookbook, starred in a Food Network show and opened restaurants.

Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry shared the sweetest moment after the Warriors won the NBA title

This is such an amazing moment between Steph and Ayesha Curry

It’s been a long road for the Golden State Warriors. They had the worst record in the NBA two seasons ago. They were knocked out of the NBA Play-In tournament last season.

But now, they’re champions. Again. Specifically, Stephen Curry. He’s an NBA champion again — for the 4th time this time. And, this time, he finally won that elusive Finals MVP trophy.

And he was absolutely thrilled about it all. He broke down in tears this time after winning the championship. The emotion was everywhere for him.

Immediately after the game when he finished his interview, he went straight to his wife, Ayesha, and the two shared an incredible moment with one another.

Here it is in video.

Just an amazing moment for an amazing player who had an amazing series. You absolutely love to see it.

Unless you’re a Celtics fan. In which, I won’t be mad if you tap that X. There’s always next year, y’all.

Celtics fans trolled Steph Curry by saying Ayesha can’t cook again and it’s probably not the soundest strategy

Celtics fans are tempting fate with this troll of Steph and Ayesha Curry ahead of Game 6

What fans say or do doesn’t really matter that much in the grand scheme of things. At the end of the day, they’re not the ones out on the court playing.

But Celtics fans telling Steph Curry, once again, that Ayesha Curry cannot cook just doesn’t really feel like a great strategy. Especially not before an elimination game.

I get trying to distract the opposition and force them into playing a bad game. But the thing is Curry is coming off his worst shooting game — literally ever. And now you’re telling him his wife sucks at cooking? Yeah, man. Just not a great move.

Yet here they are. With t-shirts and everything.

Whew. Good luck with that, Celtics fans. Seriously. Other NBA fans pointed out how this wasn’t the best strategy.
