AuburnWire argues Bryce Young does not deserve to win the Heisman. Here’s why

Do these reasons kill Bryce Young’s chances at winning the Heisman? AuburnWire thinks so.

Lance Dawe of AuburnWire covers the other SEC team in the state of Alabama out East, or South if you ask Bryan Harsin. Dawe believes that Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young is not deserving of the Heisman for three reasons.

Young, through 13 games, has thrown for 4,322 yards, 43 touchdowns and only four interceptions on 68% completion.

He’s leading the charge on an offense that many Alabama fans would consider weak when compared to recent seasons.

Dawe argues that Young is not the best player on his own team, has boosted stats thanks to skill players around him and is not as good as another quarterback that is also a Heisman Finalist. The story goes into detail for each claim.

Top-ranked Alabama will play No. 4 Cincinnati in the 2021 Cotton Bowl on Dec. 31 in Arlington, Texas.

USA TODAY Sports names Noah Igbinoghene as Boom or Bust NFL Prospect

Former Auburn CB Noah Igbinoghene is named in Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz recent list of the 15 riskiest prospects in the 2020 NFL draft.
Though there’s plenty of room for growth, Igbinoghene might be best off as a developmental prospect to be brought along slowly, even if he’s drafted in the first two rounds, Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz.
The real trouble arrives once the ball is thrown, as his mere two years of experience at cornerback leave him prone to panicking, Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz
