John Harbaugh hints at when Ravens CB Arthur Maulet may return

Baltimore Ravens nickelback Arthur Maulet began the season on injured reserve, meaning he was officially ruled out until week five.

Maulet, 31, is recovering from a knee arthroscopy, and the earliest he could play is October 6th at Cincinnati.

While it doesn’t sound like he’ll return for that specific game, it does sound like his return could be not too long after that.

“He’s looked good,” head coach John Harbaugh said.

“It seems like he’s in good shape. He can’t go out there and practice yet until next week, but we’ll see what it looks like next week.”

While he hasn’t been practicing with the rest of the team, Maulet has been working with trainers at the practice facility.

When Maulet returns (the earliest might be in the Beltway rivalry on October 13th against the Washington Commanders), he could boost a beleaguered position group.

Given that Baltimore is last in the NFL in passing yards allowed, and by a wide margin, the secondary has received a lot of criticism thus far.

Getting another key player healthy and contributing (in this case, Maulet) would help.
