The Cardinals suffered their first loss of the season in Week 8, falling 24-21 to the Green Bay Packers Thursday night. QB Kyler Murray threw an end-zone interception with 12 seconds remaining in the game. Murray, who finished with two interceptions in the loss, injured his ankle and his status for Week 9 is uncertain.
The 49ers ended a four-game losing streak Sunday, defeating the Chicago Bears 33-22 at Soldier Field. QB Jimmy Garoppolo passed for 322 yards and rushed for two touchdowns, while RB Elijah Mitchell finished with 137 rushing yards and a score.
