Texas’ dynamic duo of Robinson and Worthy have more fireworks in store this season.Â
Texas’ Bijan Robinson and Xavier Worthy have been named AP Preseason All-Americans on Monday. Robinson is honored as a first-team running back while Worthy is a second-team wide receiver selection.
Robinson is widely considered one of the top running back prospects in college football. He broke out at the end of his freshman season and carried that success to 2021. Robinson has racked up 1,830 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground while adding 491 yards and six touchdowns in the receiving game during his Texas career.
Bijan was named Preseason Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and is a 2022 Heisman favorite.
Worthy enjoyed one of the best wide receiver seasons in Texas history as a freshman in 2021. The Calif. product snagged 62 passes for 981 yards and 12 touchdowns for the Horns en route to first-team All-Big 12 honors.
