One of the ways that Mel Tucker and his Michigan State Football staff will be able to get an edge over the big players in college recruiting will be to find the under-recruited players before they get more attention. That worked recently with offensive guard Kristian Phillips, who MSU offered before he was ranked a top ten player at his position.
Now, they will look to secure the commitment of a currently unranked cornerback in Amari Jackson, who the Spartans offered on Wednesday.

Jackson is from Eagle’s Landing High School in Mcdonough, Georgia and currently only has offers out from South Carolina, Bowling Green, and NC State.
