Two Tennessee commits score goals for Bearden.

Two Tennessee soccer commits scored goals Thursday for Bearden High School (Knoxville, Tennessee) in its 3-1 victory over Franklin High School (Franklin, Tennessee).

The contest took place in the TSAA Class AAA state semifinals in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Nyla Blue and Alivia Stott scored for Bearden. Bearden will seek a third consecutive state championship against Ravenwood High School (Brentwood, Tennessee) at CHI Memorial Stadium in Chattanooga on Saturday.

Blue, the daughter of former Lady Vols’ basketball player Ace Clement Blue, gave Bearden (21-0-1) a 2-1 lead on a header during the 39th minute.

Bearden led, 3-1, after Stott scored in the 51st minute for Bearden.

Tennessee soccer commit Alivia Stott scored one goal and recorded one assist for Bearden High School (Knoxville, Tennessee) in its 2-1 victory over Houston High School (Germantown, Tennessee) during the TSSAA Class AAA quarterfinals Wednesday at Chattanooga Christian School in Chattanooga Tennessee.

Houston led, 1-0, after Leah Freeman scored in the 33rd minute.

Stott tied the game, 1-1, scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. She later assisted on the game-winning goal by Jayla Blue.

Blue, who scored in the the 74th minute of the match, is the daughter of former Lady Vols’ basketball player Ace Clement Blue.

Jayla Blue’s older sister, Nyla, also plays for Bearden. She is also committed to play soccer at Tennessee.
