For the first time since 2002, the Alabama Women’s Basketball team swept Auburn for the entire series after Sunday’s 68-64 win in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama shot 40.7 percent, 22 of 54 shots while holding Auburn to 36 percent as they only made 22 of 61 shots.
Alabama was led by junior Ariyah Copeland who put up 17 points, 13 rebounds and also hit 5-5 from the free throw line for her second double-double for the season.

Alabama’s redshirt junior Jordan Lewis also came up BIG for the Tide as she made 5 free throws in the final 19 seconds of the game to help the Tide top the Tigers.
Alabama will travel to Athens, Georgia for next Sunday’s match. The game will be on SEC Network at 12 PM CT.
