The No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide (1-1) and the South Florida Bulls (1-1) meet Saturday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET (ABC). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Alabama vs. South Florida odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

The Crimson Tide are heading down to Tampa with a chip on their shoulder after falling 34-24 against the Texas Longhorns in Tuscaloosa last weekend, losing outright as 7-point favorites. While a win isn’t likely to completely wash the bad taste of the loss out of its mouth, Alabama can get on track and get things pointed in the right direction again. It’s a rare place for Bama to be in September.

The Bulls bounced back with a 38-24 victory over Florida A&M of the FCS after suffering a  41-24 loss to Western Kentucky in the opener. USF has failed to cover in both outings to date and has cashed the Under in each battle.

Alabama is No. 10 in the US LBM Coaches Poll.

Alabama at South Florida picks and predictions

Prediction

Alabama 49, South Florida 10

Moneyline

This moneyline came on the board quite late in the game, but as expected the odds aren’t playable. Alabama (-10000) should come away with the victory Saturday, but you shouldn’t ever risk $100 to win $1.

Against the spread

ALABAMA -32.5 (-110) is a strong play, even laying more than 4 touchdowns on the road.

The Crimson Tide are angry after the embarrassing 10-point loss at home and that’s bad news if you’re wearing the green and gold of South Florida.

USF has allowed 65 combined points against Western Kentucky and Florida A&M, so imagine what the Alabama offense is going to be able to do to that shaky D. QB Jalen Milroe should be able to get back on track against a Bulls pass defense which has been roughed up for 355.0 yards per game through the air.

Over/Under

UNDER 61.5 (-110) is the lean, but go lightly.

It wouldn’t be shocking to see Alabama leading at halftime by a 42-7 score, or something along those lines, and Over bettors will be feeling very good about themselves. However, look for the Tide to take their foot off the gas in the 2nd half as the reserves get some action on the road.
