The Alabama Crimson Tide (6-2, 3-2 SEC) visit the LSU Tigers (6-2, 3-1) for a Saturday night Southeastern Conference tussle in Baton Rouge. The key circuit battle at Tiger Stadium is tabbed with a 7:30 p.m. ET start time (televised on ABC). Below, we look at Alabama vs. LSU odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

Alabama, which is No. 11 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, is coming off a bye. The Tide opened the season 4-0 and were ranked as high as No. 2, but have gone 2-2 in their last 4 games — losing at Vanderbilt Oct. 5 and at Tennessee Oct. 19. Saturday’s game at LSU will mark UA’s third consecutive matchup against a ranked foe. After the loss at then-No. 10 Tennessee, ‘Bama shut out then-No. 17 Missouri 34-0, covering as a 16-point home favorite Oct. 26.

No. 13 Louisiana State is also coming off a bye. The Tigers lost their last game, snapping a 6-game win streak with a 38-23 setback as 2-point underdogs at current-No. 16 Texas A&M. LSU was undone by a minus-2 in turnovers. The Tigers led 17-7 at halftime but succumbed to 4 scoring drives of 60 yards or less in the second half.

First look: Missouri at Alabama odds and lines

Looking at Saturday’s Missouri at Alabama college football odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The 17th-ranked Missouri Tigers (6-1, 2-1 Big 12) face the 15th-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide (5-2, 2-2) Saturday in a battle that could serve as an elimination game for one of these teams’ playoff hopes. Kickoff from Bryant-Denny Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m. (ABC). Below, we look at Missouri vs. Alabama odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

Missouri survived a couple of scares last week. The first was a 21-17 home victory against the Auburn Tigers Saturday in which Mizzou trailed 17-3 early in the 3rd quarter. The second was QB Brady Cook going down early in the 1st quarter with an ankle injury. He spent nearly 2 hours in real-time out of the game and at a hospital for an MRI before returning to the field and rallying his squad to victory — Mizzou covered as a 3.5-point favorite. Meanwhile, star WR Luther Burden III was held to just 6 catches for 49 yards on 11 targets. Mizzou probably needs to win this game to get back into playoff consideration.

Alabama found itself on the opposite side of the pendulum with a 24-17 loss at Tennessee — ‘Bama was a 3.5-point favorite. The Tide have lost 2 of 3 and failed to cover in all 3. Freshman WR Ryan Williams turned a whopping 20 targets into 8 grabs for 73 yards and a score. A loss for Alabama here would effectively end its playoff hopes.

The Alabama Crimson Tide (5-1, 2-1 SEC) visit the Tennessee Volunteers (5-1, 2-1) Saturday. Kickoff from Neyland Stadium is set for 3:30 p.m. ET (ABC). Below, we look at Alabama vs. Tennessee odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

Alabama is No. 7 in the US LBM Coaches Poll after escaping with a 27-25 home win over South Carolina Saturday but failing to cover as a 21-point favorite. South Carolina scored a TD with 43 seconds to go but failed the 2-point conversion attempt that would’ve tied the game. The Gamecocks followed by recovering an onside kick, but the Crimson Tide avoided disaster when CB Domani Jackson intercepted a South Carolina pass toward the end zone with 13 seconds remaining.

Tennessee, No. 10 in the US LBM Coaches Poll, enters after surviving in a 23-17 OT battle vs. the visiting Florida Gators Saturday. The Volunteers failed to cover as 14-point favorites and the Under (56) cashed. The Vols were dominated 35 minutes to 25 minutes in time of possession and were outgained 361-312 in total yards, but RB Dylan Sampson put the team on his back in the form of 3 TDs to lead them to a win.

Below, we look at South Carolina vs. Alabama odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

South Carolina fell 27-3 to then-No. 11, now-No. 8 Ole Miss Saturday, while failing to cover as a 10.5-point home underdog with the Under (53) cashing. QB LaNorris Sellers completed 20 of 32 passes for 162 yards, no TDs and a pick, while leading the team on the ground with 55 yards on 15 carries.

Alabama, which was No. 1 in the AP poll, was stunned Saturday, falling 40-35 at Vanderbilt as a 23-point favorite — the Over (53) easily hit. QB Jalen Milroe (18 of 24) threw for 310 yards with a TD and interception. WR Ryan Williams led the Tide in receiving yards, hauling in 3 passes for 82 yards and a TD.

The Alabama Crimson Tide (4-0, 1-0 SEC) and Vanderbilt Commodores (2-2, 0-1) meet Saturday. Kickoff from FirstBank Stadium in Nashville is set for 4:15 p.m. ET (SEC Network). Below, we look at Alabama vs. Vanderbilt odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

Alabama escaped with a 41-34 win in a thrilling finish over the then-No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs Saturday, covering as a 2-point underdog. Trailing 33-15 to start the 4th quarter, Georgia rallied and grabbed a 34-33 lead with 2:31 left. But on the 1st play from scrimmage after the Bulldogs’ go-ahead touchdown, ‘Bama QB Jalen Milroe hit WR Ryan Williams for a 75-yard TD — the true freshman wideout caught the ball at the Bulldogs’ 46-yard line and outran 2 Georgia defenders for the eventual winning score.

When Sunday’s new US LBM Coaches Poll was released, Alabama jumped 2 spots to No. 2, Georgia fell to No. 5 and the Texas Longhorns were the new No. 1. However, Alabama became the new No. 1 in the AP Top 25, just ahead of Texas.

As for Vanderbilt, the Commodores enjoyed a bye week after a heartbreaking 30-27 double-OT loss at the then-No. 11 Missouri Tigers Sept. 21 as 17.5-point underdogs. Vandy QB Diego Pavia played well despite the loss, completing 14 of 23 passes for 178 yards and 2 TDs without a pick, while also rushing for a team-leading 84 yards.

The top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (3-0, 1-0 SEC) and the 4th-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide (3-0) meet Saturday in a titanic SEC matchup at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN+). Below, we look at Georgia vs. Alabama odds from BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

The top Dawgs are coming off a bye after narrowly escaping 13-12 in a road game at Kentucky in the SEC opener on Sept. 14. Georgia came nowhere near covering the 21.5-point spread, obviously, and it was lucky it didn’t get caught looking ahead to Bama.

The Under has cashed in all 3 games for Georgia, with the Bulldogs defense allowing just 18 total points, or 6.0 PPG. UGA has allowed just 91.3 passing yards per game, and 202.0 total yards per game, too.

Alabama racked up a 42-10 win at Wisconsin on Saturday, covering as a 14-point road favorite. The offense has put up 42 or more points in all 3 games this season.

The last time the Crimson Tide was home, it was a bit sluggish, however, leading USF just 21-16 late into the 4th quarter before scoring 21 points in the final 5:50 to pull away.

The Alabama Crimson Tide (2-0) and the Wisconsin Badgers (2-0) meet Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET (FOX). Below, we look at Alabama vs. Wisconsin odds from FanDuel Sportsbook before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

Alabama is No. 4 in the US LBM Coaches Poll last week, but it was rather sluggish most of the evening in T-Town against USF. Eventually, the Crimson Tide shook free of the pesky Bulls, winning 42-16, but it missed the cover as 30.5-point favorites as the Under (64.5) cashed.

Alabama led just 14-13 after 3 quarters, and 21-16 midway through the final quarter. Bama scored 21 points in the final 5:50 to make the game look more lopsided than it was.

Wisconsin has managed a pair of victories so far, but it has been rather unimpressive in each. The Badgers won 28-14 against Western Michigan in the opener, failing to cover as a 24-point favorite as the Under (57) cashed, and it had an ugly 27-13 win over FCS South Dakota Saturday, failing to cover as an 18.5-point favorite as the Under (45.5) again hit.

USF at Alabama odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s USF at Alabama odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide (1-0) welcome the USF Bulls (1-0) to Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET (ESPN). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Alabama vs. USF odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

South Florida kicked off its season with a 48-3 win as a 43-point home favorite over Bethune-Cookman Aug. 31 as the Under (59.5) hit. QB Byrum Brown managed the game well with 152 passing yards, and RB Kelley Joiner chipped in with 78 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. WR Abdur-Rahmaan Yaseen led the receiving group with 73 yards on 5 catches. But with Alabama up next, the Bulls will need to seriously up their game, especially when it comes to protecting Brown and handling Bama’s explosive offense.

Alabama kicked off the season in style, showing why it’s always in the national championship conversation. The Crimson Tide covered as 34-point favorites in a 63-0 win over visiting Western Kentucky Aug. 31 with the Over (59.5) cashing. QB Jalen Milroe was on point, completing 7 of 9 passes for 200 yards and 3 touchdowns. RB Justice Haynes didn’t need many touches to make an impact, racking up 102 rushing yards and a touchdown on just 4 carries. WR Ryan Williams turned 2 catches into 139 yards and 2 scores, proving the Tide’s big-play potential. On defense, Alabama was rock solid, shutting out Western Kentucky and stifling its offense. At home, the Crimson Tide look set to keep rolling, especially against USF.

USF at Alabama picks and predictions

Prediction

Alabama 49, USF 17

Moneyline

PASS.

Obviously, you should never make a -10000 bet, which is why you should focus on the spread for this game.

Against the spread

BET ALABAMA -30.5 (-115).

Alabama’s got the talent, depth, and home-field advantage to blow USF out of the water. Even though the Bulls looked decent last game, they’re about to face a whole new level of competition. Alabama should dominate from start to finish, and with a 9-3 record ATS in its last 12 games, taking it to cover the spread looks like a smart move.

Over/Under

BET OVER 63.5 (-110).

USF’s offense has been on a roll, putting up 45 or more points in its last 3 games going back to last year. Meanwhile, Alabama has been a safe bet for the Over, hitting it in 8 of its last 10 games.

After putting up 63 points in Week 1 against Western Kentucky, the Crimson Tide are clearly in scoring mode. With both teams capable of lighting up the scoreboard, this game should easily hit the Over. Expect a lot of points on the board in this one.

First look: Western Kentucky at Alabama odds and lines

Looking at Saturday’s Western Kentucky at Alabama college football odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Alabama Crimson Tide welcome the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers to Bryant–Denny Stadium Saturday for the season-opening game for both programs. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET (Fubo). Below, we look at Western Kentucky vs. Alabama odds from FanDuel Sportsbook before making our expert college football picks and predictions later in the week.

Alabama is No. 5 in the US LBM Coaches Poll. The main change in Tuscaloosa this season is the addition of Kalen DeBoer, who is taking over from the infamous Nick Saban. DeBoer led Washington to the CFP title game last season. The Crimson Tide will again be led by QB Jalen Milroe, who had 2,834 passing yards and 35 total TDs last season.

While Western Kentucky will enter unranked, it did have a solid season a year ago. It finished 8-5 with a 5-3 record in Conference USA. The Hilltoppers will have an extremely experienced side, adding 6 junior and senior transfers. They will be led by 6-foot-7 Texas State transfer QB TJ Finley, who went for 3,439 passing yards and 24 TDs last season.
