Notre Dame basketball makes top 6 for 2025 Maryland 4-star guard

The Irish advance in the guards recruitment

As the search for Notre Dame basketball’s first 2025 commit continues, it is being considered by some highly sought-after prospects.

One of them is Maryland shooting guard [autotag]Adrien Stevens[/autotag], who on Tuesday announced that he has trimmed his list of schools to six. Along with the Irish, the 6-foot, 4-inch and 195-pounder has Tennessee, Marquette, Villanova, Georgetown and Florida State in his top group.

Stevens is ranked as the nation’s No. 121 overall prospect and 18th ranked shooting guard according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Notre Dame offered him a scholarship at the end of January, so the relationship has been building since then.

He’s only taken official visits to Marquette and Villanova, but you would have to expect that one to South Bend will happen in the near future.
