Durante los entrenamientos del AC Milan, el sueco sufrió una lesión y surgieron las sospechas de que podría haberse roto el tendón de aquiles. Una lesión de esta magnitud a sus 38 años podría haber representado el fin de su carrera como futbolista.

Ya pueden tranquilizarse fans de Ibrahimovic, este martes el club italiano compartió un comunicado en el que reporta que el jugador sufrió únicamente una lesión en la pantorrilla derecha, y que su tendón de aquiles está a salvo. Para recuperarse, el sueco estará fuera de circulación por 10 días.

“El AC Milan informa que Zlatan Ibrahimovic sufrió una lesión en el músculo sóleo de la pantorrilla derecha. El tendón de Aquiles está perfectamente intacto. Se realizará un examen instrumental en 10 días”, se lee en el comunicad.

Recordemos que los clubes italianos de la Serie A han regresado a los entrenamientos en espera de que se reactive su torneo. Las especulaciones son que el futbol regrese a Italia en algún momento de junio.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores for AC Milan in first start

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back in Italy and he’s already scoring.

In his first start for AC Milan since 2012, ageless superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored to help his team win 2-0 at Cagliari on Saturday.

Ibrahimovic, who left the Los Angeles Galaxy in November after “conquering” MLS,  signed a deal in December to return to his old club AC Milan at the age of 38. Ibrahimovic played his first games for the club in 2010 while on loan from Barcelona, and helped AC Milan win Serie A in 2011. The following season, he led the league in scoring with 28 goals.

Ibrahimovic saw his first action in his Serie A return off the bench, but he earned a spot in the starting 11 on Saturday and didn’t take long to get on the scoresheet.

AC Milan are currently eighth in the Serie A table on 25 points, 10 points back of the last Champions League spot.
