Watch: 49ers, Browns get into pregame scuffle

The 49ers and Browns got into a little scuffle before Sunday’s game.

Good luck finding any love lost between the 49ers and Browns.

Prior to Sunday’s game the two squads got in a sizable scuffle near the 49ers sideline during warmups.

It’s unclear what started the kerfuffle, but it’s clear from the video 49ers WR Deebo Samuel, and subsequently LT Trent Williams were firmly in the mix.

Franchise record on the line for 49ers vs. Browns

During the #49ers’ 15-game win streak (which tied a franchise record), they’ve won all but four games by more than 10 points.

The 49ers are heavy favorites to beat the Cleveland Browns in Week 6. A win would be important in keeping pace atop both the NFC West and the NFC, but there’s something else on the line for San Francisco that doesn’t involve the standings.

If the 49ers snag a victory over the Browns, it will mark their 16th-consecutive regular season win, which would be the longest streak in franchise history. San Francisco hasn’t lost since a 44-23 defeat at the hands of the Chiefs in Week 7 of last season – Christian McCaffrey’s first game with the 49ers.

Since then they’ve rolled through the regular season with 10 straight to finish the 2022 campaign and another five to start this year.

Perhaps the most impressive part of the streak is that only four of the wins have been by fewer than 10 points. Only two have been decided by fewer than seven.

They’re winning and dominating in the process.

The 1989-90 49ers set the franchise record with 15-straight wins. They won the final five games of the 1989 regular season before ripping off 11 straight to open the 1990 campaign.

Sunday’s kickoff between the 49ers and Browns is set for 10:00am Pacific from Cleveland Browns Stadium.

5 reasons for concern when 49ers face Brown in Week 6

The #49ers should win in Cleveland, but there are a few causes for concern heading into Sunday.

The 49ers should beat the Browns. They should probably beat the Browns by a lot. San Francisco has a better roster, a better coaching staff, and they’re healthier. Cleveland is also without starting quarterback Deshaun Watson. All signs point to a 49ers victory.

Alas, it’s the NFL and weird things happen. A Browns upset is on the table even if the odds are stacked in the 49ers’ favor.

San Francisco should go into Cleveland and leave with a win, but here are a few reasons for concern heading into Sunday:
