2025 5-star WR Jerome Myles signs with Texas A&M

After reporting he would not sign this week, Jerome Myles surprised Aggieland by inking his name on early signing day

Surprise! Mike Elko and wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins were able to close the deal on 5-star WR out of Draper, UT. Jerome Myles de-committed from USC at the beginning of the week and announced that he would not be signing during the early signed period.

This is like an early Christmas present for a recruiting team, especially after a season in which the passing game had plenty of problems, stemming from bad play calls to receivers not being able to get open. He will come into Aggieland as the No. 1 ranked player in Utah and 30th in the nation.

He has all the tools to be a starter early in the A&M career physically standing 6’2″ at 210 pounds with track speed on the football field. He was named to 247Sports’ 2025 Freaks List. There is a lot of upside and if he can have a few successful seasons, it can do wonders for recruiting for the position in the future.

Congratulations to Myles signing with Texas A&M and we look forward to watching him earn his playing time on the field in Bryan-College Station.

2025 5-star WR Jerome Myles will reportedly not sign during the early period

2025 5-star wide receiver Jerome Myles will not sign with a team during the early signing period

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is slated to grow exponentially over the next three days, as several commits, including five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers and three-star quarterback Eli Morcos, have already committed to the Aggies as of Tuesday.

On Sunday, it was reported that after visiting College Station during A&M’s season finale loss to Texas, 2025 5-star wide receiver Jerome Myles out of Draper, Utah, received a prediction to land with the Aggies from On3’s Steve Wiltfong after the elite receiver decommitted from USC on the same day.

However, while it was assumed that Myles would sign with Texas A&M during Early Signing Day on Wednesday, the senior pass catcher announced that he would not sign with any team this week and would play out the rest of the recruiting period. It’s important to note that he can change his mind and still sign early.

I expect Utah and BYU to push hard for Myles’ commitment this week, but as things stand, I still believe the Aggies are in a good position to land the highly coveted wide receiver prospect in the coming months.

According to On3’s Industry rankings, Myles is currently positioned as the 24th-ranked prospect in the 2025 cycle, the 4th-ranked wide receiver prospect, and the No. 1-ranked prospect in Utah.

2025 5-star WR out of Draper (UT) is predicted to land with Texas A&M

2025 5-star WR Jerome Myles has decommitted from USC, and is now predicted to land with Texas A&M

Texas A&M’s 8-4 finish during head coach Mike Elko’s first season is disappointing, especially after starting 7-1 and atop the SEC standings. However, star running back Le’Veon Moss’s season-ending injury threw a wrench in the offensive game plan and wrecked it consistently.

While the entire coaching staff can be blamed, OC Collin Klein’s confusing playing calling in the red zone combined with Elko’s decision to go on two fourth downs instead of attempting field goals and trusting the defense. Allowing just 17 points against Texas, these decisions will likely haunt both coaches heading into the 2025 offseason.

However, while finding on-field positives is hard, some key recruiting news from one of the program’s high-profile visitors in the 2025 recruiting class could be headed to College Station next season after visiting and attending Saturday night’s game.

After decommitting from USC, 2025 5-star wide receiver Jerome Myles is now predicted to land and sign with Texas A&M during Early Signing Day on Wednesday, Dec. 4, according to On3 recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong.

This is huge news for a roster in dire need of elite playmakers at the wide receiver position, especially after losing Evan Stewart to Oregon nearly a year ago. If Myles signs with the Aggies on Wednesday, expect him to climb the depth chart in his first season.

According to On3’s Industry rankings, Myles is currently positioned as the 24th-ranked prospect in the 2025 cycle, the 4th-ranked wide receiver prospect, and the No. 1-ranked prospect in Utah.

Ole Miss 2025 5-star WR decommit recently visited Texas A&M

2025 5-star WR Jerome Myles, who decommitted from Ole Miss, recently visited Texas A&M

With the recent news that two Ole Miss 2025 football commits will explore other options moving forward, Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko is in a good position to make a move as the Aggies are linked to both prospects, including five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles out of Draper, Utah.

Jerome Myles, a standout on the football field, initially committed to the Rebels in late April. However, after a series of official visits to his hometown team, the Utah Utes, and Texas A&M last weekend on Friday, June 21, he had a change of heart. Standing at an impressive 6’2″ and 205 pounds, Myles brings a wealth of potential to the position.

As a true X wide receiver, Myles’ 2023 junior tape reveals a player willing to block and overpower defenders when necessary. His receiving skills are equally impressive, with soft hands, quick feet, and a knack for running precise routes while excelling in the red zone due to his large catch radius.

During said 2023 season, Myles recorded 19 receptions for 486 yards and six touchdowns while averaging an incredible 25 yards per reception. During Corner Canyon’s appearance and eventual victory in the Utah 6A state championship game, the incoming senior grabbed five receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown.

According to 247Sports, Myles is currently positioned as the 31st-ranked prospect in the 2025 cycle, the 5th-ranked wide receiver prospect, and the No. 1-ranked prospect in Utah.
