2025 4-star TE Kiotti Armstrong reaffirms his comittment to Texas A&M

2025 4-star TE Kiotti Armstrong remains strongly committed to Texas A&M

This week, every commit in Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class has received an “official” offer from the program and every other school that has recruited them over the past year, as the national signing period begins during early signing day in late December.

One of the top-ranked prospects in the cycle, 2025 4-star defensive lineman Kiotti Armstrong, is one of the more versatile prospects in the class, recruited as a tight end while possessing the size, strength, and athleticism to play on the defensive line if the Aggie coaching staff deems it a better fit at the next level.

Despite his strong commitment, Armstrong has received ongoing interest from the Texas Longhorns, who were an early favorite to land him, as Mike Elko and his staff made a late push. However, after receiving his official offer from Texas A&M, Armstrong went to X, posting a GIF of Kyle Field, coupled with two 🏠 emojis, reaffirming a commitment to the program.

During his 2023 junior season at Jasper HS, Armstrong recorded 268 receiving yards and nine touchdowns, quickly becoming a red zone threat due to his soft hands and large stature at 6-foot-6 and 250 pounds.

According to 247Sports, Armstrong is the 76th-ranked prospect in the 2025 cycle, the 3rd-ranked tight end, and the 14th-ranked prospect in Texas.

2025 4-star TE out of Jasper (TX) has placed Texas A&M in his Top 10 program list

Texas A&M has made 2025 4-star tight end Kiotti Armstrong’s Top 10 program list

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class will continue to grow as the months roll on. The spring season is over, and a busy summer of scheduled visits from a plethora of elite 2025 prospects, including four-star tight end and Jasper, Texas native Kiotti Armstrong, will follow.

New Aggies head coach Mike Elko knows that an offense must load up at the tight end position to avoid succumbing to mismatches in the passing game while holding up in the running game. Focusing on future depth, Elko and his staff received good news: Kiotti Armstrong has included Texas A&M in his Top 10 program list.

Armstrong’s Top 10 program list is a testament to the fierce competition in the recruitment process. Alongside Texas A&M, he has also considered powerhouses such as Florida State, Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Miami, Texas, Mississippi State, Baylor, and Ole Miss. Armstrong has already made several unofficial visits to College Station, with another official visit scheduled for June 13.

On the field, Armstrong is one of the best athletes in the country, with the potential to play on the defensive line or offensive line at the next level if he chooses to do so. Standing at an imposing 6-6 and 250 pounds, Armstrong recorded just 268 receiving yards during his 2023 junior season but hauled in 9 touchdowns on the year.

According to 247Sports, Armstrong is currently positioned as the 65th-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, the 3rd-ranked tight end, and the 12th-ranked prospect in Texas.

Texas A&M HC Mike Elko recently visited one of the Aggies’ top 2025 recruiting targets

Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko recently visited 2025 tight end Kiotti Armstrong this week.

Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko and his staff are making the visiting rounds this week, focused on sustaining as many relationships as possible with members of the 2025 recruiting class after hosting several key prospects during the junior day earlier this month.

Elko’s success in the transfer portal will significantly impact the Aggies’ 2024 season. However, looking toward the future, prepare for departures at nearly every position due to said portal, including at the tight end. On Thursday, Elko and Associate HC/Running Backs Coach Trooper Taylor took a short trip to Jasper High School to visit 2025 tight end Kiotti Armstrong, who took unofficial visits to College Station on July 29 and most recently, Jan. 13.

According to 247Sports, Armstrong is currently positioned as the 54th-ranked player in the 2025 cycle, the 3rd-ranked tight end, and the 9th-ranked player in Texas. Standing at 6-6 and weighing 248 pounds, Armstrong is the epitome of today’s elite TE prospect, possessing the speed and receiving ability and enough size to line up as a blocker in 12 personnel.

During his 2023 junior season, Armstrong was a red zone threat, recording 26 receptions for 268 yards and 9 touchdowns through the air after netting just 2 receiving scores in 2022.
