This Sunday, 2025 four-star quarterback Husan Longstreet will announce his collegiate intentions, and according to multiple recruiting analysts, including On3’s Steve Wiltfong, the California-based signal-caller is a favorite to land with Texas A&M.

In terms of overall confidence regarding his prediction, percentage-wise, Wiltfong is at about 60% due to Longstreets’ recent visit to Auburn during the Tigers’ spring game last weekend.

Possessing an elite arm, Longstreet’s recruiting profile has continued to rise over the past year, delivering high-velocity passes at a consistent rate during his impressive 2023 junior season at Centennial HS in Corona (CA), racking up 3,013 yards, 24 touchdowns and just seven interceptions through the air, including 645 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on the ground.

It’s no secret that under second-year head coach Hugh Freeze, Auburn has intriguing weapons at the wide receiver position that would entice a quarterback prospect, led by former Texas A&M commit Cam Coleman, who showed off his elite skill set during the spring game.

However, under first-year head coach Mike Elko and new offensive coordinator Collin Klein, this is a new era for the Maroon & White, giving way to a (hopefully) fresh and innovative offensive system. Judging from Klein’s time as Kansas State’s OC, this seems to be the case so far this spring.

According to multiple insiders, including 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong, 2025 4-star QB Husan Longstreet is predicted to land with Texas A&M.

On Monday, 2025 4-star quarterback Husan Longstreet released his Top 8 program list, including Texas A&M after he visited College Station early last month.

With four commitments in the cycle, Mike Elko is looking to add the first signal-caller in his A&M coaching career, while Longstreet has been on his radar since taking over in late November. While the Aggies’ QB room is solidified for the 2024 season, preparing for the future as soon as the 2025 season has made Longstreet a high-priority prospect.

Rumors regarding Longstreet’s connection to the program took a positive turn this week, as 247Sports’ Recruiting Director Steve Wiltfong has submitted a prediction for Longstreet to land with the Aggies over Oregon, Ole Miss, Michigan, and Auburn. Joining Wiltfong, On3 Oregon insider Justin Hopkins has also submitted his prediction for A&M to land the California native.

According to 247Sports, Longstreet is currently positioned as the 53rd-ranked player in the 2025 recruiting class, the 5th-ranked quarterback, and the No. 1-ranked player in California. Before his commitment announcement on Sunday, April 15, Longstreet is expected to take another visit to College Station on March 29.

With an eye on solidifying the quarterback position for the future, Elko and his staff have been in constant contact with 2025 4-star QB Husan Longstreet out of Corona, California, one of the elite offensive prospects the cycle has to offer. It has been confirmed that 2025 4-star quarterback Husan Longstreet visited Texas A&M for junior day this weekend.

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class has the potential to grow exponentially over the next couple of months, as head coach Mike Elko and his staff hosted a bevy of 2025 and 2026 prospects during the third junior day weekend, which also happened to include the Aggies remaining 2024 commit, 5-star athlete Terry Bussey.

On Saturday, it was reported that a surprise visitor made the list, as 247Sports reported that 2025 4-star quarterback Husan Longstreet is in College Station this weekend attending said junior day.

After receiving an offer from Texas A&M late last month, Longstreet has been in contact with Elko ever since. At the same time, new Aggies offensive coordinator Collin Klein is undoubtedly an intriguing pitch.
