2025 4-star and Texas A&M commit Noah Mikhail receives distinguished honor

2025 4-star LB Noah Mikhail has received is Navy All-American Bowl Jersey, which contains a personal connection

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is filled with talent at nearly every position, while several commits stand out more than others, which includes 4-star linebacker Noah Mikhail, who displays an elite skill set that should result in early playing time as soon as he steps on campus.

Before heading to College Station, Mikhail will participate in the Navy All-American Bowl, which will take place inside the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, set for Saturday, January 11, at 1:00 p.m. ET.

While it’s no surprise that Mikhail received an invitation, the senior backer holds a deep personal connection to the Bowl’s Military celebration and representation, as the senior backer received his jersey this week, explaining the significance in an interview with 247Sports’ Blair Angulo:

“Having the tie-in with the Navy makes it all the more special for me and family,” Mikhail stated. “The milary does so much for our country, they protect us and keep us safe, and i know it’s going to be an amazing experience in the stadium.”

In terms of the competition Mikhail will face, this will be a great tune-up before taking on SEC offenses in the near future.

“We’ve heard it’s a great experience and a different type of competition level. This is the best competition you can get, and that’s what I’ll be doing in the SEC — going against the best of the best every week.”

Mikhail’s elite athleticism and impressive closing speed make him a name to watch within a 2025 linebacker corps that will need an infusion of talent, especially in the era of the transfer portal.

After committing to Texas A&M and head coach Mike Elko on June 30th, Mikhail confirmed his alliance with the program earlier this fall.

According to 247Sports, Mikhail is currently positioned as the 120th-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, the 8th-ranked linebacker, and the 10th-ranked prospect in California.

2025 4-star LB and Aggie commit Noah Mikhail will visit Texas A&M this weekend

Texas A&M linebacker commit Noah Mikhail is headed back to College Station this weekend

This is a busy weekend for Texas A&M’s 2025 and 2026 recruiting classes. Mike Elko and his coaching staff will host a growing list of prospects from both cycles during A&M’s annual recruiting pool party this weekend.

While 2025 prospects visiting include 5-star safety Trey McNutt, who pushed back his commitment decision before heading to College Station on Thursday, one of the program’s 19 2025 commits will also attend the pool party this weekend.

2025 4-star LB Noah Mikhail, who committed to Texas A&M back in late June, is by far the most versatile backer in the cycle, and outside of being a tackling machine, Mikhail has the potential to become a feared pass rusher in Elko’s defensive scheme.

Making it back to CSTAT for the first time since his official visit on June 7, Mikail remains locked in with the program ahead of National Signing Day in February and could help sway several 2025 prospects toward committing to the Aggies in the coming days.

During his 2023 junior season, Mikhail racked up 166 tackles, one sack, 15 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, and an interception at Bonita HS in La Verne, California.

According to 247Sports Composite, Mikhail is currently positioned as the 74th-ranked prospect in the 2025 cycle, the 10th-ranked linebacker, and the 7th-ranked prospect in California.

2025 4-star LB out of La Verne (CA) has committed to Texas A&M

2025 4-star lineback Noah Mikhail has committed to Texas A&M!

Boom! Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class just got a major boost with the addition of its 16th commitment, four-star linebacker Noah Mikhail. His decision to choose the Aggies over Oregon and USC, after developing close relationships with head coach Mike Elko and defensive coordinator/linebacker coach Jay Bateman, is a significant win for the team.

Under former head coach Jimbo Fisher, landing top linebacker prospects was a consistent issue before current sophomore LB Taurean York burst on the scene during the 2023 season, and even then, he was only a three-star prospect.

While talent, especially in York’s case, can’t be justified only by recruiting rankings, Mikhail’s speed, sideline-to-sideline agility, and overall athleticism while being a proven tackling machine are some of the many reasons he’s one of the Top 100 ranked prospects in the 2025 class.

During his 2023 junior season, Mikhail recorded 166 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, an interception, and a sack, which, of course, led to his profile steadily rising in the rankings ahead of what should be an equally productive senior campaign.

According to 247Sports, Mikhail is currently positioned as the 83rd-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, the 10th-ranked linebacker, and the 5th-ranked prospect in California.

2025 4-star linebacker out of Bonita (CA) has placed Texas A&M in his Top 3

Texas A&M is now a finalist for standout 2025 linebacker Noah Mikhail

With Texas A&M linebacker Taurean York ready to enter his all-important sophomore season, Mike Elko and his staff are looking toward the future at one of the more important positions on defense.

This offseason, the Aggies’ ever-growing 2025 recruiting class has already landed a commitment from four-star LB Kelvion Riggins. Several high-ranking prospects at the position, including four-star Riley Pettijohn and four-star Noah Mikhail, are still on the market.

Looking ahead, the Aggies are eagerly awaiting the official visit of Riley Pettijohn on June 21, and the visit of Noah Mikhail, scheduled for this weekend on June 7. Mikhail has also set a commitment date, adding to the excitement, which is marked for Sunday, June 30.

A high-priority prospect, Elko and defensive coordinator Jay Bateman have traveled to California on multiple occasions this offseason to visit Mikhail at Bonita HS. On Tuesday, Mikhail clarified his future collegiate options, releasing his top-three program list, which includes USC, Oregon, and Texas A&M.

On the field, Mikhail is a tackling machine, racking up 166 tackles, one sack, 15 tackles for loss, three pass breakups, and an interception on the year during his 2023 junior season at Bonita HS in La Verne, California.

According to 247Sports, Mikhail is currently positioned as the 83rd-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, the 10th-ranked linebacker, and the 5th-ranked prospect in California.

2025 4-Star LB out out La Verne (CA) will reportedly visit Texas A&M next month

Texas A&M will reportedly host 2025 4-star linebacker Noah Mikhail in late March amid the Aggies’ spring football season.

Under head football coach Mike Elko, Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is looking to grow in the coming months, already adding multiple defensive prospects, including 4-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins and 4-star cornerback Deyjhon Pettaway.

During his two seasons as Duke’s head coach, Elko recruited current star Aggies linebacker Taurean York, knowing he would quickly become one of the more underrated prospects. Bringing the same recruiting philosophy to College Station, Texas A&M will reportedly host 2025 4-star LB Noah Mikhail, whom Elko visited earlier this month.

According to 247Sports Composite, Mikhail is currently positioned as the 48th-ranked player in the 2025 cycle, the 5th-ranked linebacker, and the 5th-ranked player in California.

Set to enter his senior season at Bonita HS in La Verne, California, Mikhail recorded 166 tackles (98 solo tackles), 15 tackles for loss, a sack, and two interceptions on defense. Offensively, Mikhail netted 363 rushing yards, eight touchdowns, and 455 receiving yards and five touchdowns through the air in 2023.

I’m looking to add at least one or two more linebacker prospects in the class; Mikhail would be a perfect fit in Elko and new defensive coordinator Jay Bateman’s defensive attack, possessing the speed, instincts, and tackling ability to excel as either a linebacker or safety at the next level.

Before heading to College Station on March 21, Mikhail will take consecutive weekend trips to Alabama (March 8) and Oregon (March 15).

Texas A&M HC Mike Elko is looking to continue adding more linebackers to the 2025 class, recently visiting 2025 4-star LB Noah Mikhail.

Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko has been the hardest working man in College Station this year, taking recruiting visit after recruiting visit, which has continued into February, as the Aggies’ 2025 recruiting class looks to grow tenfold before spring football begins next month.

This week, Elko has already visited several 2025 prospects out of California, including standout 4-star cornerback Chuck McDonald and 4-star linebacker Noah Mikhail out of La Verne, California.

Already landing 4-star linebacker Kelvion Riggins last weekend, Elko is looking to acquire as much talent as possible at the position for the future. Heavily pursued by USC, Mikhail, who stands at 6-3 and 205 pounds, is among the top defensive athletes in the 2025 cycle.

Possessing the speed, instincts, and tackling ability to excel as either a linebacker or safety at the next level, Mikhail has also played on offense as a running back and wide receiver throughout high school.

During his 2023 junior season at Bonita HS, Mikhail recorded 166 tackles (98 solo tackles), 15 tackles for loss, a sack, and two interceptions on defense. Offensively, Mikhail netted 363 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns, combined with 455 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns through the air.
