Steph Curry banked a hole-in-one at the ACC and excitedly ran down the green to celebrate

This hole-in-one celebration from Steph Curry is just the best.

Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry is proving himself to be quite the talented golfer at this weekend’s American Century Championship.

Being played on the Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada, Curry had separated himself from the celebrity field to lead all golfers by Saturday afternoon.

After sinking a beautiful putt while walking away on Friday, Curry banked a stunning hole-in-one at the ACC, the first-ever such accomplishment on hole seven at the tournament.

After he nailed the shot, Curry excitedly ran down the green and celebrated as the fans cheered him on like he’d knocked down a shot at the buzzer in an NBA Finals game.

This was a beautiful shot from Curry, and it’s pretty neat that he had such a joyful reaction.

There are plenty of recognizable faces playing at the celebrity golf tournament this weekend, but Curry seems to be running away with the highlights.

While basketball is how he made his career, Curry could have a future awaiting him on the links if he wants it.

Steph Curry makes hole-in-one at American Century Championship

Buckets!

Steph Curry has been all over the place lately.

A few weeks ago, he and Golden State Warrior teammate Klay Thompson played in the latest edition of The Match series opposite Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs at the Wynn in Las Vegas. The Splash Brothers went on to lose.

This week, Curry is back on the golf course, this time at the American Century Championship at Lake Tahoe.

And now he has a highlight to show his buddies.

During the second round, Curry canned a hole-in-one at the par-3 seventh after birdieing the sixth.

He currently leads the event.

Watch Steph Curry drain an unbelievable putt at American Century Championship while walking away

Steph Curry can hit long shots even when he’s not on the court.

NBA superstar and future Hall of Famer Stephen Curry is well-known for making unbelievable shots. Those shots just normally don’t come on the golf course.

But in addition to his exploits on the court, where he’s won four NBA Championships, he’s also an avid golfer and routinely competes in celebrity events.

At the American Century Championship, an annual celebrity tournament held Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada, on the shores of Lake Tahoe, Curry cracked the highlight reel with a putt you’ll just have to see for yourself.

Despite putting from a distance that would make a pro shudder and on a green with a nasty break, Curry wasn’t fazed. He played the break absolutely perfectly, sinking the putt as — in perfect Steph Curry fashion — he walked away, not even looking back at the fantastic putt he had just holed.

What a legend.

After finishing at 3-under for the first round, Curry leads the tournament — which uses a Modified Stableford system (translation: A high score is actually good in this format) — with 27 points.

Curry will look to win the ACC Championship for the first time and dethrone defending champion and three-time event winner Tony Romo.

Travis Kelce is no stranger to smothering opponents on the football field for the Kansas City Chiefs. He can also mash a golf ball.

Two weeks ago, Kelce and Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes topped Golden State Warriors stars Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson in Capital One’s The Match in Las Vegas. Now, Kelce has another golfing accolade he can add to his resume: long drive champion.

Kelce and other celebrities are at Lake Tahoe this week for the 2023 American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe. It’s one of the best fan events of the year, as celebrities take on one another in a modified Stableford format over 54 holes. Tony Romo, the defending champion, is the favorite to win. Action gets underway Friday.

However, the two-time Super Bowl winning tight end gets bragging rights for being the longest off the tee. During Thursday’s long drive competition, Kelce mashed his tee shot with a carry (!!!) of 362 yards to win the title.

Not a bad few weeks for Kelce with the sticks.
